Here, guests will have a chance to visit the outer market of Tsukiji and come face to face with Tsukiji's food. After sampling more than 5 of Tsukiji's greatest offerings, a local, knowledgeable guide will make this food tour a blast.
After more and more food, their trip will end with a glorious seafood bowl with sashimi fresh from the market. Enjoy the food paradise with your local guide.

5.00Excellent food tour with our lovely, knowledgeable guide Kazu - we learnt some Japanese history as well as enjoying a wonderful tour of the fish market, sampling foods. Kazu was excellent throughout and took plenty of photos which we shared with us after. Viewpoint at the end also a highlight.

5.00What a lovely tour with Kazu via Magical Trip through the Tsukiji Market! Kazu was knowledgeable, quick to adapt to the group's interests and preferences, and a pleasure to talk with for three hours. The tour was a solid introduction to the market and the surrounding area - you get to see the Honganji Temple, you spend the bulk of your time at the market tasting and exploring, and you also see an expansive view of the Tokyo at the end. Our tour never felt rushed, yet I was surprised at how much we saw and did in just a few hours. Tastes included: fresh tuna nigiri, fresh tamago, dashi broth, green tea, grilled and skewered eel, so many little snacks (e.g., roasted wasabi sesame seeds, crunchy sakura sweets, dried squid, etc.), and a full lunch where you can choose from a variety of dishes (I got 8 pieces of nigiri, that also came with miso and green tea). While in the market, usually no more than a few minutes passed without us eating something. And when we weren't, Kazu was pointing out interesting items, restaurants, and market history. Overall, a great way to experience Tokyo's famous fish market, and I recommend it!

5.00Overall a very low stress easy tour in an overwhelming area of the city. The fish market can be very intimidating for some foreigners, but Holly our guide was very relaxed and her English was above par. We made several stops where she ordered in the crowd while we enjoyed the people watching. I never felt stressed or overwhelmed. The seafood lunch at the end was delicious and it was at a restaurant where they expected our group and had our own table with doors for good conversation. Only downside was the tour could have been 30-60 longer to try more foods. But now I feel more comfortable going back for sure. Highly recommend Holly!

5.00Our guide was Megumi, she was waiting outside the gate of the Hongan-ji temple where and the tourist third person was waiting. She was friendly and informative and started the tour by taking us to the temple to guide us through a small cultural experience. After that we headed to the market and visited a number of places where we could either get some samples up to 1500 yen or buy them ourselves which we did (oysters, sashimi plates and kobe beef skewers). She pointed out interesting facts about the stops in way like it was a friend showing us around. After that, we went to have lunch near by where we talked about travels and the difference between Australia and New Zealand. Finally we headed for a visit to high rise observation point. Overall, it was fun, relaxed and friendly tour. I would recommend Megumi and do the other food tours (waygu) she runs. Domo arigatou gozaimasu for a great tour Megumi.
