Toyosu Market is one of the largest wholesale markets in Japan, which opened in 2018 after being relocated from Tsukiji Market. A tour course overlooking the Fisheries Wholesale Building and the Fruits and Vegetables Building has been developed within the market. Visitors can observe the vitality of the market and the people working there, and experience the dynamic nature of the huge market. On this tour, you will observe a tuna auction from a special deck. The sight of huge tuna from all over Japan and overseas is a spectacular sight. Visitors are fascinated by the serious competition between the auctioneers and wholesale brokers, who shout back and forth to each other. The auction is held in the early morning, so you need to get up early, but it is a worthwhile experience.
