Ice Fishing in Comfort inside warm tent or Cabin. Cabin is usually available between December 20th to March 31st when ice is sufficiently thick. Otherwise warm tents will be available.

Guests will experience jig fishing with supervision and participate in a traditional net pull fishing when weather permits.

Guest will be picked up from hotels in Yellowknife and embark on a Ice Fishing Trip. Itinerary as Follows: 1. Participate in a traditional Ice Fishing with a net pull on the Great Slave Lake (Weather and Ice Condition Permitting) 2. Fish inside warm tent or cabin for about 1.5hrs-2hrs with supervision 3. Fresh wild caught fish fry lunch (Potato Salad and Dinner Roll) 4. Back to the hotels by 13:30

Thank You for an Unforgettable Ice Fishing Experience Dear Leon, I had the wonderful opportunity to go ice fishing with you and your team, and I must say it was an absolutely incredible experience. You have an excellent group of people working with you—everyone is so kind, gentle, and genuinely dedicated to making sure the experience is as enjoyable as possible. Their hospitality and commitment to ensuring comfort are truly remarkable. The food we enjoyed, especially the fish, was absolutely delicious. I spent two hours fishing, and it was such a pleasant and memorable experience. I nearly caught a big fish! The team mentioned it might have been one with large teeth, as it managed to cut the fishing line and escape. While I didn’t catch it, the thrill of the moment added to an already extraordinary experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this activity to anyone—it’s a unique adventure that I thoroughly enjoyed. Pickup and dropoff at our hotel was prompt and easy. The ride out onto the ice in a sleigh was fun too! We sat in a heated tent on the ice with fishing poles in a hole, just like you'd imagine. They fed us a meal of fried fish with a roll and potato salad that was yummy. We really enjoyed it!
