We had a poor experience that we wouldn’t wish on anyone else. The guide, Wilson, was willfully misleading about the existence of the Aurora, despite it not being there that night. He exclaimed to everyone that there was an Aurora right above our heads, and when we said that we couldn’t see it, he dismissively replied, “It’s there, and if you can’t see it, I guess everyone’s eyes are different.” What a thing to say. There simply wasn’t an Aurora on that night. And it was such a rude shock to be spoken to with such crassness and condescension. We went for another tour the following night that was miles better than the one we had with this company. They had a cabin for us to warm up, they had actual food for us, tripods to borrow to take the aurora on our own phones, and most importantly, we actually saw a beautiful and mesmerizing Aurora on the following night. I would NOT recommend this company to my worst enemy.

Absolutely recommend it!! It was a cloudy night. Wilson, our guide, was amazing and positive and his constant enthusiam kept us going even when we didn't see anything. His judgement was excellent and he took decisions quickly about how much time to spend at each location. He gave us background about the Dene people, the history of mining. On the shores of Lake Prosperous, he and Rupinder served us hot chocolate and cookies. After we were done, Wilson went out to check and there were 2 brightening bands right above our heads. Then at the last stop we saw parts of the aurora where the cloud cover had slipped, glimpes of bright green. Thanks, W-i-l-s-o-n, you rock!

This tour delivered a pretty good Aurora view, but visibility was short. The mini bus was clean but you won’t get a lot of comfort. It was cold and the Aurora came and went so we got on and off to keep warm. The guide and driver worked as a team which was nice to see. There was no toilet and it was dark outside with water and ice around. I suggest taking a small flashlight so you don’t run the battery down on your phone. You will want to take a lot of pictures because small movements will result in a blurred photo. Overall, this trip met my expectations.

Pickup time was exact. And we did manage to see the aurora. However the photographs was not that great, we could see a lot of aurora light with our naked eye and smart phone capture it, but the professional photos turned out not that great. Duration was shorter than 4 hours and ended up coming back to hotel slightly sooner then expected. Need better photograph training

The tour was poorly run but saved by spectacular aurora show. We waited at the parking lot of our first stop for about 45 minutes too long with no Aurora activity. The guide did a poor job communicating to passengers on board. After seeing several tour vans came and gone, I asked our guide when we will move to the next location. She then contacted her boss and got his okay right away to head to the next stop. The boss is also the photographer for multiple tour vans. We saw spectacular Aurora show at our second and final spot. Before heading back, the boss shared (via air drop) all the photos he took the night with each group. He instructed each group to simply delete what we don’t want or not belong to us. Not sure about such practice due to privacy concerns as we didn’t consent of sharing our photos with strangers.
