This tour is designed to fit perfectly within your ship’s schedule. This 6 to 7 hour tour takes you to some of Samoa’s most iconic sights, offering opportunities for swimming, scenic views, and relaxation. Enjoy a stress-free adventure knowing you’ll return to the ship well before departure.
All cruise ships dock at different times. So, make your way to us early after the gangway is down, as we can depart early if everyone is with us, giving you more time at the spots. We will not depart until ship arrives, so if your ship arrives after 9am, we will be waiting. Thank you and see you in Samoa!!!

Piula Cave Pool
Piula Cave Pool on Upolu Island, Samoa, is a beautiful crystal clear freshwater spring that originated from an old lava tube.
To Sua Ocean Trench
To-Sua literally means 'giant swimming hole', 30 metres deep and accessible via a long ladder where a long platform sits for easy access in the pool. Inside is a cave that leads to the open sea and is recommended for skilled divers. It is surrounded by beautiful native gardens and a spectacular view ideal for weddings, photoshoots and more. Overlooking the ocean is a small beach known as Fagaoneone meaning white sand, while opposite you can find a lava field with blowholes, mini pools and good fishing spots. If you're visiting during mid-September to November you may even be lucky enough to see a few whales coasting by. This is an absolute must-see place to visit while on holiday in Samoa.

5.00Shawn and Janette were excellent tour guides! We were in Shawn’s van and we asked a lot of questions about the culture, education, government and demographics of Samoa. He was very knowledgeable and answered everything! We saw a lot of the area around Apia and had lots of time to swim in the cave (nice and refreshing!), the trench (steep steps but well worth it!) and at the amazing beach. We really appreciated the fact that we weren’t rushed at each spot and had plenty of time to enjoy it! Loved this tour and the island of Samoa! 🇼🇸

5.00A perfect day with Jeanette from Surf & Turf Samoa. The whole trip with all the points was very interesting and very exciting, we learned a lot about Samoa's country and people. Jeanette took a lot of time, answered every question in detail. We were on a beautiful beach with very good seafood lunch. It was our first visit to Samoa and we really feel we know something about the island and its inhabitants.

5.00Sean and Jeanette went out of their way to make sure that each of us were taken care of. They are extremely knowledgeable about their island and enjoyed showing it to us. We had ample time at each of our stops and never felt rushed. They guaranteed us that we would be back in plenty of time to board our ship and were true to their promise. I highly recommend Samoa Surf and Turf Tours. They are the real deal!!!!

5.00This was the best trip Ever! Shawn & his beautiful wife, Jannelle (spelling) were the very best hosts I have had! They were friendly, informative, professional, and More! There were 19 of us on this adventure and we all had a Blast!! We all agreed that we would go on more tours that their company "SAMOA SURF & TURF" offered!

5.00Fantastic day in Samoa with Shawn & Janette touring the island & swimming! There were 7 of us from the cruise ship. We were picked up right as we got off the ship & drove around in an air conditioned van to many highlights of Samoa. They included cold water & snacks. We saw & swam in the refreshing Piula Cave Pool; then the rather adventurous Sua Ocean Trench where you have to go up & down a very steep ladder to swim; next we went to the beautiful Lalomanu beach with a restaurant; on the way back to the port we stopped at the gorgeous Papapapaital Water Fall overlook point; & last a quick drive around the major town, Apia. It was a great day... highly recommend this experience!

5.00Shawn was wonderful. We rode in a spacious air contioned van. Shawn wore a speaker headset so everyone could clearly hear what he shared about his home island. He shared information on the history, current political and cultural situation, typical meal, crops, customs and more. We arrived on a Sunday when almost everything is closed. Our cruise ship also didn't arrive until 1 o'clock in the afternoon which cut our visit short. However, Shawn had it scheduled so we never felt rushed and had plenty of time to visit all the sights. He supplied cold water and local banana and taro chips. They were delicious! Shawn even took pictures of us and emailed them to me later that night. I strongly reccomend this activity. We fell in love with Samoa.

5.00As we got off the ship they were very easy to find as they previously sent photos. The tour was very informative and enough time spent at each stop. Would highly recommend them!!!
