Universal Studios Hollywood you should be ashamed of yourself. Denying an AAP for an austic 3 year old!!! Especially since you have approved other children with the same disability. Been on the phone for over an hour trying to convince them that autism is a disability. This is ridiculous

We visited Epic Universe to see the Harry Potter and Super Mario Brothers areas. As we didn’t know the references to the other areas, we skipped them. Super Mario area was very colorful and felt like we were inside the game. The lines for the rides were very long and there is not much shade there. Nice to look at, and super fans will love it. The HP area was very well done. Lots of shop fronts to look at, great butterbeer and one ride. If you have one of the special wands, there is an interactive game. We found the customer service in Universal to be very poor. Not very friendly or helpful.

We got a 1-day ticket for the park during the day (with the express pass) and a ticket for the Halloween Horror Nights (without the express pass). Both experiences were below our expectations, to say the least. During the day, the attractions were really short and unexciting. The two "roller coasters" (if you can even consider them that) "Escape from Gringotts" and "Revenge of the Mummy" were somewhat fun, but they were more like 4D experiences on wheels than actual roller coasters. Other rides, such as "E.T. Adventure", "Fast & Furious Supercharged" and "MIB Alien Attack" were even more boring. And those things were basically everything you could do there besides the kids' area. I suspect some attractions were temporarily closed for HHN, because I have a memory of Universal Studios parks having way more adrenaline than this; or maybe the extreme stuff was all in Islands of Adventure, I'm not sure. At HHN, the experience was a bit better, but not that much. The haunted houses were basically all the same (not sure if I should expect something different, though), the animatronics (including the ones from FNAF) were really stupid with some really cheap-looking and boring movements. On the other hand, the actors did a good job in the haunted houses and the live performances on the street, the ambience and atmosphere for everything were nice, and the "Cirque Macabre" show was really well-done in its own way. In the end, the whole HHN experience was kind of boring, for the main thing was repetitive and simple, but some things stood out positively. I wouldn't recommend HHN to adults, unless they have a child.

Hopefully someone will read this and learn. We’ve been here before but it’s been a long time, over 10 years. Park prices are very high. $340 for two adults for one park for one day. Yikes!! Even though we came here on a weekday in mid October the park is still very crowded. Wait lines for the rides aren’t extremely long, we waited probably 45 minutes at the most for a ride and did not do the fast pass because we didn’t want to pay any more money than we already did. The park itself is nice and there’s lots of characters out and about along with some nice attractions like the animal show and the Blues Brothers show. For food, don’t expect anything reasonable as far as prices are. They also have a drink cup, which you can purchase for around $20 and you’re able to refill it for free throughout the day. Be warned though that they limit The time you can refill the cup as there’s a sensor on the bottom of the cup and you can’t use any other cup than the one you purchased because the machine knows. We were here eight hours, went to about four rides as there’s a lot of 3-D rides and can get a bit overwhelming at times. Overall, we had fun, but it is expensive and we will probably never return again as we’ve already experienced this park and it’s just too unaffordable nowadays.

We visited Universal Studios Florida for Halloween Horror Nights with Scream Early tickets and a pre-approved Individual Accessibility Card (IAC). What was meant to be an inclusive, fun evening became a 7-hour ordeal of confusion and disrespect. Staff repeatedly gave us contradictory information, dismissed our concerns, and even spoke down to us — all while we tried to accommodate our autistic son. Despite waiting hours as directed, our IAC times were repeatedly reset or ignored. After speaking with 11 employees and walking all the way back to Guest Services for help, we were refunded only for the Scream Early tickets. The refund didn’t come close to addressing the real issue: the IAC process itself is broken, inconsistent, and demeaning. Accessibility should make things easier, not harder. No family should spend an entire night defending themselves to indifferent staff or explaining to their child why being “different” means waiting even longer. Universal, please do better.

We went to Universal Studios on Monday and had a very bad experience — I do not recommend it at all. My wife and I went specifically to visit the Simpsons World, and the ride was closed, which was very disappointing. Later, we were on the Jimmy Fallon ride, and all of a sudden the ride stopped, and we got stuck with our seat belts on. No one could get out, and the doors wouldn’t open. No one from the staff or security team came, and people started getting very anxious. We were stuck for around 30 minutes, and everyone was getting desperate because we had no idea what was going on. I had a terrible experience because my wife started crying from the anxiety. After more than half an hour, they finally managed to get us out. The next day, I called Universal to report what happened, and they told me they couldn’t do anything — they would just take note of it, but that was it. This really upset me because we traveled a long way, spent a lot of money, and planned this trip over a year in advance, only to have such a bad experience — and they didn’t want to offer any kind of solution. I absolutely do not recommend it.

That attractions have in many cases problems as they were damaged a lot and enthusiasm is lost

The directions to redeem can be difficult; I would recommend to download the Universal Studios app and link the tickets that way otherwise going to the ticket attendant can make for an awkward experience. Otherwise the parks were fun and clean; I would do 1 park per day since there is a lot to do in one park and hopping around is only good if you want the Hogwartz Express

Universe is one of the most disability unfriendly places on earth. First, the handicapped parking is miles away and they have no complimentary wheelchairs until you walk miles to the parks. They lied to me and kept sending me places to get a wheelchair and wasting my time in lines.

EXTREMELY large park, be prepared for a LOT of walking & crowds of people, especially on the Simpsons side of the park & around Diagon Alley. I went to UC to ride Hollywood Rip, Ride Rockit as it was closing the following week & I didn’t ride it on my previous trip to IoA. RRR was REALLY, REALLY amazing & awesome! Not sure why it got so much hate because it was amazing. I was disappointed that the Mummy ride was closed for maintenance that day but I plan to visit again next year so hopefully, it’ll be open next time. Everything was great but I didn’t like the fact that some of the conveyor belts at the entrance were not working. I’m mobility challenged so not being able to use them was a bummer. Some suggestions I have for the park are to have some type of free transport to move people who are mobility challenged around to each section of the park. This would’ve been so incredibly helpful for me. Secondly, please consider posting signs on which characters will be coming out at which times. I had trouble finding this information on the app. Thirdly, please consider posting a sign at the bottom of the elevator pointing the way to the busses for partner hotels. I had no clue where to meet up for the bus to take me back to the hotel & ended up having to wait an extra hour as I’d been waiting 45 minutes already, in the wrong area. The bus driver for bus B was extremely rude & unhelpful. He had a very arrogant attitude towards me & very unapologetic for any misinformation I was given regarding where to catch the bus at. He absolutely could’ve taken me back to the hotel as it was only a few minutes past pickup time, especially after I’d explained my dilemma to him, but he refused, saying I’d have to wait an extra hour! It didn’t matter that I was having so much difficulty walking, my legs & feet were so swollen, I could barely walk just to be told I had to walk all the way back to where I came from to wait on the bus so just be aware, the waiting area for the partner hotel busses are on the ground level BEHIND THE ELEVATOR, not where the regular busses are!! The Hard Rock Cafe staff were absolutely phenomenal! The food was excellent & the decor & gift shop was amazing as always. I didn’t like, however, the EXTREMELY long walk back around to the entrance. I didn’t see a bridge cutting across so I’m unsure if there’s one available. If not, another suggestion to the park is to install a bridge to cut across from the Hard Rock Cafe, to help those who are mobility challenged to not have to walk so far back around. Overall, I was able to accomplish most of what I set out to do here. I was unable to ride everything. It’s possible to ride everything in one visit but if you’re mobility challenged, you may want to consider renting a mobility scooter or bring one if you’re local, you may wish you had if you don’t. The entry fee is way overpriced IMO. I don’t think that riding the Hogwart’s Express should cost extra, we pay enough already, just to get into both parks there, HWE should be included. I really enjoyed the Wicked display as well as seeing so many characters out & about. There’s a mini golf there by the conveyor belts as you enter the complex but unsure if it’s included or how to access it. I’ll have to check into that for next time. I advise to consider doing a multi park ticket for multiple days. Some areas are just too crowded to be able to see so adding a second day is definitely something i suggest doing, if you can.
