Lamar Valley
Nicknamed “America’s Serengeti,” the Lamar Valley is Yellowstone’s premier wildlife viewing destination. This sweeping grassland, carved by ancient glaciers and the meandering Lamar River, provides a vital habitat for the park’s most iconic species. Visitors can observe vast herds of bison, packs of wolves, grizzly bears, elk, pronghorn, and countless birds from the comfort of their vehicle or roadside pullouts. Dawn and dusk offer particularly magical moments when the valley comes alive with animal activity.
Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone
The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is an often overlooked spot and often ends up being tour highlight. The canyon runs 20+ miles and holds the tallest waterfall in Yellowstone.

After touring with Mike, I didn’t think it could get any better, but Lisa picked us up, took us into Yellowstone and from the second we were with her, we had a magical day! We saw two bald eagles. We then saw a rare wolf pack for an extended period of time. We saw herds of buffalo including a red dog. We saw two male pronghorns in an epic battle for ten minutes. We saw a grizzly bear! It was so exciting and fun, perfect guide! Anyone would be happy to have her. We had a picnic lunch. We saw stunning landscapes. We saw herds of elk. It was one of the best days of my life! Highly recommend!

A friend referred us. The guides were great, personable and skillful spotters. Due to the keen eye of Lisa and her trusty scope, we saw a pack of wild wolves. My wife says, “it was the best two days of our lives. Absolutely magical.” Professional. We had so much fun. We saw all the animals!

This tour was a true bucket list experience for the family who loves nature! We were picked up early by Lisa for our adventure and had no packing of lunch, binoculars or maps to worry about. Lisa's narrative of the history of Yellowstone was more precise than what I had read before...chalk that up to her first hand experience!

My partner and I did enjoy the knowledgeable guide. Lisa is a great source of information and know the best parking areas to see the surrounding nature. It’s nice to let Lisa drive and answer questions about the wildlife. It was unforgettable experience.

Lisa was fun and knowledgeable. We had food on our tour and she let us go at our own pace. We saw bears, bison and an eagle. We get together once a year and choose a ladies trip. Nature seen is highly recommended and we're so happy we decided to do this! Lisa picked us up and brought us back to our hotel which was a bonus because I'm nit familiar with the area.
