• Worth the long day.

  This tour was 12.5 hours long but worth it. There were only 2 of us (seperately) on the tour, and i'm glad the other guy also chose to do the balloon ride, or i'd have felt guilty keeping him waiting! The viewpoint climb was tough, 40 mins of steps and ramps in 36c heat, so be prepared for it. Great view, despite the haze made it worth the sweat! Blue Lagoon was a well paced stop, allowing for a swim, lunch, or just people watch! The cave was well worth it and the temple stop was brief, but enough. The hot air balloon, pricey, but worth it in my opinion! Having done this trip, i felt i'd seen enough of Vang Vieng, so good option if you dont have time in your itnerary for a layover there. Punch the guide was very good, very communicative and caring. He even supplied juice snd water for the climb and assisted us with ordering and buying stuff. Expensive day but a once in a lifetime experience!

  If you like Nature then this is a great place, the water falls was very good, but the zip line, bridge to it and the kayacking were not my thing, though if this interests you then go for it. The traffic in and out of the zip line area, the little bridge was a disaster, very long waits stuck in traffic that did not seem to move. Better to have a driver park far enough away and hike to the zip line and bridge as the traffic was not my cup of tea. Having said that it is a beautiful area. We had a bit at a roadside cafe, very good local food.

  It was nice to see the weather The guide was nice and kind to me, who was not good at English. It can't be helped because it is a group tour, but there were some things that I cared about, such as matching the pace of walking and the lunch shop, but in terms of communication, everyone cared I'm satisfied. Thank you. Since the pick-up time was a little early, I think that if you let me know in advance, I will not be bothered It's my first ride on the new Hiace.   Excellent day tour with a good guide. The trek up the mountain was a bit daunting but managed to do it. Also done a boat trip and a hot air balloon ride in the afternoon.

  Make sure to bring change clothes/shoes for the viewpoint. Very challenging ascent, partly muddy. But it's fun. Gao with driver Nan were great, thank you.
