Discover the best of Victoria Falls on Segway with an experienced local guide. Segway, electric personal carrier, is a unique way to experience nature. Our Segways are quiet, easy to ride and suit most ages and abilities. You get a sense of freedom scooting along on your own carrier.
All our tours are small groups of 5 or less which means we can pay attention to individual needs and answer any questions you have along the way. Unlike other tours, we provide an intimate experience which gives you, the guest " The Best of Victoria Falls" in only 2 hours.

Suitable for all physical fitness levels
The Segway has a weight carrying restriction of up to 117kg or 260lbs (including the rider and all cargo).
Children must be accompanied by an adult and weigh no less than 45kg or 100lbs.
Adult pricing applies to all travellers.
Please advise of any specific dietary requirements at the time of booking.

You will ride on Segways through the main Victoria Falls town centre past the hustle and bustle of this vibrant cultural hub. The tour will then take you to the famous " Big Tree" which at 22.4 meters girth towers over its surroundings. It is possibly the biggest and oldest (2000 years old) Baobab tree in the country. There will be ample time to take some photos and have a refreshment. The tour continues on the road known as Zambezi drive which is almost 4km of river-side views of abundant nature. If lucky, we encounter impalas, bushbucks, buffaloes, elephants, and hippos. Next stop is the parabolic Victoria Falls Bridge, which connects Zimbabwe and Zambia. It was the inspiration of Cecil Rhodes who envisaged trains "catching the spray of the Falls as they pass" . Apart from the natural wonder, you might see adrenalin junkies jumping off the bridge during the 111m bungee jump! The Segway tour concludes as you scoot back towards the Victoria Falls Hotel where you learn the history of the oldest hotel in Zimbabwe. There will be time for you to sit back, relax and reflect on the experience you have had before we take you back to your hotel.

3.00Unfortunately the Segway operation is not currently running (Sept 2025). Maybe it will be back? Instead, simply allow 2 hours (min.) to walk the length of the rainforest viewing points. Maybe USD $50 per person entry is steep, but still unmissable. The park closes circa 17:30. Walking the roads near the rainforest park after dark is not advisable (hippos).

5.00Victoria Falls Hotel is fabulous steeped in history and beautiful scenery! The Falls were magnificent and powerful. The walking tour was great although wet! Luckily we were provided with raincoats. Lastly we took a helicopter to view it all from above!

5.00To be honest, I thought the tour was a little slow. But it was still very informative and fun, so I’m not knocking it down for that. You also have to go slow to spy animals, so there’s that. I love this activity. Great for beginners and experienced riders alike.

5.00This was a great couple of hours to spend seeing the sights of Victoria Falls township and park - but not the waterfalls. Best view on the tour was from the Outlook Cafe of the river gorge. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining but we did request he skip the end of the tour to the hotel and market so we could view the waterfalls on foot for an hour. He was happy to accommodate us. Entry to the waterfalls park is US$50 each and they are the highlight of the area, naturally, even in the dry season.

5.00Nathan was a friggin awesome guide. He really knew his stuff. To be honest i thought it would just be a fun ride, but Nathan made it so much more. Took us to some markets and his knowledge on local history and events was amazing. The segways are easy to ride and so much fun. We were 5 people in our 60's and had no trouble. Covers so much more ground than on foot. If you book request Nathan for your guide.

4.00A different vantage view of Victoria Falls. Travelling on Segway, you see stuff which might elude you when travelling by car or tour bus. Our guide Kuda was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about Zambezi river, visiting the oldest Baobab tree and also walking on Victoria Falls bridge into Zambia territory! If you can spare the time ; do this and you definitely will not regret.

4.00I did this my first morning in Vic Falls. Fun way to see the town. I don't remember my guides name but he did a great job showing me places that are off the beaten track for tourists and how to use the Sedgeway. My only complaint is that the website said the tour would end at Victoria Falls hotel for a chance to eat and it started there instead. I was disappointed in that but otherwise I had a great time.

5.00It was a very good, very informative experience. Trevor taught us a lot about the city and nature, he is a very pleasant and very professional guide. He knew how to share with us his love for nature and his village. The segway visit allows you to take your time and make a really interesting and quiet visit. Do not hesitate to plan this pleasant activity.
