Ana was a wonderful guide, super friendly and was able to translate Spanish to English for me when necessary. She picked me up in a lovely van (with air conditioning) from a spot of my choosing and then we headed off for the caves. The views on the trip up into the mountains were spectacular and the caves are such a cool piece of history as well as a beautiful natural formation. We also visited the musical museum which is a private collection of instruments from around the world. All in all a lovely time, highly recommended.

Although I guess there is supposed to be a two person minimum – Anna picked me up and I was the only one on the tour so I had a private tour. Anna was very, very knowledgeable and made it a very pleasant day. There are many many stairs to climb down and up inside the cave, and the lighting in the photographs is from colored lights, not natural formations on the stalagmites. The music museum is part of a private collection of musical instruments from all over the world with one area featuring instruments from Busco area. The church in the small town was beautiful – and empty when we were there. I would welcome having Anna as my guide on any tour.
