Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

Punalu'u Black Sand Beach
See one of Hawai‘i’s most famous black sand beaches, formed by cooled lava fragments. Keep an eye out for resting honu (sea turtles) along the shoreline as you stroll, take photos, and enjoy the striking contrast of black sand against blue water.

5.00Suzie, our tour guide was very warm and welcoming from the moment she introduced herself. She was a very safe driver and was able to tell us about the points of interest along the way. I appreciated her vast knowledge base about the volcanoe and she showed us her personal video of it erupting.

5.00Susie was the most amazing tour guide. She was fun and full of historical information and all the fun folklore. She was very interactive with all of us tourists and really made the whole tour enjoyable. She even made sure to take the time to show us little extras along the way, making sure we were able to enjoy all of what Hawaii has to offer. Please ask for her specific. 5.00We went on the Volcano Tour that left from Oahu! We had a great time! We had a wonderful experience going to see Rainbow Falls and the Steam Vents, and Suzie was an amazing driver and conversationalist! We loved hearing stories; we had an extremely fun time overall! We were lucky to have a small group that got along well together! There were some places to buy things but I never felt pressured to do so. The vibe was relaxed, which was great, and I got to see what I wanted with a better idea of how I could spend a longer trip!

5.00Suzie was my guide on what ended up being a private tour of Hilo, Kiluea, and all around the big island. She shared a lot of history and stories about the landmarks we saw and had such a joy and excitement about the island that was contagious. I'd definitely recommend her and the Hilo Big Island/Helicopter tour!

5.00GREAT TOUR !Suzie was very good. She had a lot of interesting facts about the area. She went out of her way to accommodate all of us. This was the most educational tour of my trip to the island. I enjoyed that tastes section, too.
