A walking safari is a unique way to experience the African bush and its primary objective is to explore various wildlife species that are overlooked on a game drive.

A group of guests is escorted by a professional walking guide and an armed officer.

African wilderness, allowing participants to immerse themselves in the sights, sounds, and smells of the bush in a way that's impossible from a vehicle. Led by experienced guides and accompanied by armed officers for safety, walking safaris provide a deeper understanding of the ecosystem and its inhabitants.

We had an amazing experience with Declaw Eco-Tourism Safari in Livingstone and can’t recommend them enough. From the start, they were kind, flexible, and genuinely took the time to help us plan the tour exactly how we wanted, explaining all the options without any pressure. We did the walking safari in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park and were blown away by their knowledge. They pointed out everything, from birds and plants to tiny ants and rhinos, and shared it all with passion. The guides made sure we felt involved and at the center of the experience, which made it truly special. It’s also a local team, deeply connected to the park and the area, and supporting them really makes a difference. A wonderful, meaningful safari experience in Livingstone.

This experience was overall great! The only thing that I did not love was I was able to book for 540, but the tour company called me and rescheduled for five as the park closes at six. This did cut our tour pretty short, but the tour guide was great and we did get to see the rhinos up close. They joke that it is a dung tour and it pretty much is. Most of what we saw was poop and tracks, which was very cool and seeing the rhinos up close was cool. Again, the only thing that was bad about this was allowing us to book at a time that was not ideal to see the park or fulfilled to three hours That was promised through this listing

Really enjoyed the walk through the bush and learning about the different animals. The guides are extremely knowledgeable. Ended up with so many great photos, especially of Rhinos and Giraffe. They make it so easy with hotel pick up and drop off. Would recommend.

Lacken and Martha and the wounded warrior were great guides. We enjoyed the safari ride and saw much wildlife.wspeciqllu enjoyed viewing the giraffes and rhinos. I learned about Dung a lot

We felt safe during the walking safari. The guide gave very nice and detailed information about little things during the safari, not only about animals but also about plants ant little beings. Further more the picknick was extremly good and well taken care of. A very friendly guide who wants you to have a nice experience.

We’ve had a wonderful morning doing the walking safari with Lacken and park ranger Sam. Of course seeing the rhinos in a respectful and safe way was very special, but with the walking safari you really feel like you’re in the bush and have so much time for all the details of the natural world around you. Thank you very much both of you for the knowledge that you shared (and also for the lovely lunch by the river). I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Libingstone!

The teaching on the wild animals way of life was awesome. Bright who happened to be our guide, was a good teacher and a good driver too.
