This is a small group experience, with each electric cart limited to a max of 7 people. Whilst we do our best to seat groups together, we aren’t able to guarantee this and at times, groups may be asked to sit on separate carts.
This tour runs year-round and goes ahead rain or shine, unless conditions are dangerous. Cancellation decisions may be made at the meeting point. We may delay up to 30 minutes for weather to improve. Please arrive as scheduled, dress appropriately, and check messages for updates.

This is a child-friendly tour, however, please note that all children will be charged at full adult rate due to limited seating. Our eCruisers can accommodate most types of infant seats and you are encouraged to bring your own. Children are not permitted to sit on their parent's laps. We can provide an infant seat if needed, provided you call us at least 48 hours before the tour and inform us of the age and weight of the infant.
We can accommodate folding wheelchairs for guests who can transfer into the cart on their own or with assistance. Please note that there is no ramp access, and we are unable to accept motorized or non-folding wheelchairs due to vehicle limitations. Wheelchairs are not provided. If bringing your own, please let us know at the time of booking. All requests are subject to availability.
The itinerary and its order of stops are subject to change at any time. Monuments visited may change due to local road or monument closure which are beyond our control. Most travelers can participate
Your tour covers the National Mall in an all-electric vehicle. We're committed to reducing the environmental impact of vehicle-based tourism in Washington DC, which makes up the vast majority of tours given in this city. Make a "green" difference by seeing the Mall via electric transportation!
This tour is priced for 1-7 people, reserving an entire small e-vehicle for private use. Should you have more than 7 people, please contact us for a price.

5.00Sam was an amazing tour guide. He did a really wonderful job of telling us details that we didn’t expect. He was charming and witty and knowledgeable. We are so thankful that we did the open air golf cart tour, which allowed a much better view of the city than a tour bus.

3.00Our tour guide could have been better: -Tour guide almost ran over a cyclist -Tour guide almost collided with another car -We could not see his presentation in the dark -Tour guide lost control of our group at the Lincoln Memorial Otherwise, we enjoyed the tour

5.00This was a perfect solution for solo traveler on a hot day. The monuments which I have seen before were a whole different experience at night with the lighting. The guide from intrepid gave a very engaging commentary, and the electric car was quiet, agile, and comfortable.

5.00Booked this during our stay in Washington DC. Overall we had a fab time. Our driver Amanda I think was informative, knowledgeable and allowed us to take time at each stop location to take photos. The electric vehicles were clean and a nice way to travel. The only point to be aware of is that on the back of each seat there are exposed nuts that stick out a little. Please be careful if like me you’re wearing shorts as you can scrape your knees across them when getting in and out of the cart.
