Wellington Cable Car
Drive through Thorndon, Wellington's colonial settler and early Māori historic area up to the Wellington Cable Car. Take in the beauty of Wellington harbour from the Cable Car Lookout and visit the award winning Cable Car Museum. If you like, ride on the iconic Cable Car down to Lambton Quay and back.
Drive through Kelburn and the university, down the steepest street in Wellington and into the CBD and Parliament precinct. Step onto the grounds of Parliament to see “the Beehive” and hear about New Zealand’s political system.

5.00Unfortunately we picked a wet and windy day to be in wellington however Helen was brilliant always positive and adapting things to fit with the weather and made sure we had a good time. Helens knowledge and passion for Wellington and New Zealand really made the tour for us and we would not hesitate to recommend this tour.

5.00We were on a cruise with a limited time in port. This was a great over view of the charming city of Wellington along with its beautiful coastline. Mark was a great guide and source of information. We would schedule this tour again if we come back to the area.

The ride was comfortable, and we learned so much about the city’s history while visiting beautiful spots. Our lunch at Scorch-O-Rama was one of the highlights we absolutely loved it. 5.00This was a top notch premiere level tour experience. Helen has extensive knowledge of the history and architecture of the area. Along the route she explained many details of the Maori people, various landmarks, and the meanings behind them. We would rate this a first class tour with first class service and hidden away gems steering you away from cruise ship crowds with perfect timing and excellent connections. I would highly recommend this tour especially if you are looking for a private tour.

5.00Wow wow wow, just wow! We highly recommend this tour to everyone who wants to see Wellington city from local perspective. Our driver and guide Helen took a very good care of us. We came from a very very small country of Lithuania and Helen greeted us in OUR language, what a surprise! Helen knows how to be a good host, she knows all the places in and around Wellington together with many interesting facts and stories. We had an amazing amazing day. Thank you very very much!

5.00A comprehensive tour of Wellington with a guide who has lived there all her life. Helen was fabulous, she knew many interesting people and we had lunch at a fabulous local restaurant. She guided us but let us choose what we wanted to see by giving us many choices! Thank you Helen for a fabulous day - can’t recommend you enough!
