The Juan de Fuca and Haro Strait are renowned for their ample wildlife, including animals such as resident and transient Killer Whales, Humpback Whales, Minke Whales, seals, sea lions and many marine birds!
Zodiac vessel tours are for the more wild at heart, letting the wind blow in your hair and be exposed to the true west coast elements in an open style, 12 passenger vessel.

Three hours in length, April through October are the ideal whale watching months. In this peak season, we boast a greater than 95% success rate of spotting whales, including both transient & resident orcas, humpback, minke, & gray whales! Other wildlife you may encounter include Stellar and California seal lions, harbour and elephant seals, otters & marine birds such as cormorants and bald eagles. Unlucky tour? 5.00Shannon knew all the hotspots to find several humpbacks, seals and sea lions and she shared her knowledge (and great sense of humour) along the way. Such a sunny and calm morning added to the enjoyment.

5.00We had a great time whale watching! The boat ride itself was fun and exciting. We enjoyed going fast and riding through the waves! Our guide brought us to a location where we saw a pod of three orcas!! It was amazing to see. Our guide was knowledgeable and shared information about the history of the area, the orca pod as it was being tracked and the other types of animals in the area. My 14 year old daughter had the best time.

5.00Shannon took us out for an amazing and lucky ride to see a pod of 4 Biggs Orcas named Sydney, Stanley, Lucky, and Darcy. We had a great time and highly recommend the expertise, knowledge and friendliness Shannon brought to the excursion.
