  It's a long afternoon and evening in the summertime. Worth every minute of it. I could personally do with just one waterfall rather than two, coming from the land of waterfalls. Nonetheless, the kangaroos and wombats were particularly fascinating in their "native" environment. Wombats are impervious to humans, whether acclimated or simply not worried. They wander where they wander and it's great to see them emerge and forage in the grass. Our tour guide, Damon, is great at what he does and makes the tour interesting and safe. Grateful for his camera skills as well!

  We had a wonderful day with Damon exploring the beautiful wildlife in Sydney. We saw kangaroos Wanda and we even saw some flying fox bats. He supplied all the snacks we needed. Damon was very amiable yet professional. At the end of the tour, he dropped us off at our hotel. Lovely experience !

  This was the best tour ever! Damon (our guide) was fantastic. Local small business. Lives here and is knowledgeable. Pickups and Drop-offs within the CBD. Small group and small bus (akin to airport shuttle size). Have to remember that kangaroos and wombats come out in the evening, hence the later start and getting back late. The scenery enroute is nice. The stops on the way south, Scenic Lookout, 2 waterfalls, amazing. I went on a cool, cloudy, overcast, and slightly drizzly day, in the summer, go figure. But, this still was perfect. The pub stop for dinner was nice. I would recommend the chicken parm, huge serving. We stop to see some fruit bats, way cool. Got to the park around 7pm, and the kangaroos were out. Saw a mom with her joey, amazing. A little later, the wombats came out. So cute! You can get close (No Touching) enough to hear them eating. Got lots of pictures and videos. I would do this again. I’m a male retiree from Washington state in the U.S. One drawback: this tour is not for the mobility challenged. Lots of steps, lots of walking. May also be a challenge for tall people, I’m 6 feet/183cm and my knees were impacted by the bus seats. I had to man-spread to be comfortable. And you are on the bus for 5+ hours. I still recommend this tour nonetheless.

  Dave was a great tour guide! He was very knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor, was a safe driver, and helped the participants get to know each other during the drive.

  It was a long day but necessary to see the wombats that only come out in the evenings. Damon took good care of our small group. The two waterfalls with 90 meter drops were good examples. We have been other places with better water falls but these were a good option while waiting for the evening activity. The kangaroos and Wombats were as promised. You could get quite close to some of the wombats. We had been to three other nature areas with kangas and wombats in our three week journey but having the animals in the wild was the best Recommend!

  Amazing experience with Dave. We saw beautiful waterfalls, breathtaking rolling hills, and more importantly kangaroos and wombats in their natural element. Dave made the journey interesting, funny, and made everyone feel welcome as part of the group. Pick up instructions were clear and collection was prompt. Highly recommended! Dont be disappointed by going with someone else…

  Incredible activity! We start out leaving the city center and make a few waterfall stops which are also bathroom stops. The longest stop is to see wombats and kangaroos. Be patient for them to appear because when they do, everywhere you look you’ll see a big furry tank of an animal moving about. Many many kangaroos too. Damon was a great guide and the unlimited snacks were also fab. Highly recommend!

  This was a WONDERFUL experience! Dave was our driver/tourguide/photographer etc., and he was so knowledgeable, kind and patient. He kept everyone in the group engaged and when he spotted interesting animals he pulled off the road for photos and commentary. Dave ensured everyone saw kangaroos and wombats and he took photos of everyone with the critters. We also stopped at waterfalls and nearer the end of the tour we stopped to see the stars. Dave was very knowledgeable about constellations and was able to point them out. The tour included dinner and there were 3 options to choose from which could meet everyone's dietary needs. Also, Dave provided water, soda, chips, nutbars, cookies, etc to keep everyone satisfied throughout the tour. Overall a GREAT experience. A note: the roads are curvy, so take motion sickness treatment if you have that issue.
