A short ferry ride and an easy cycle through the north of the city and we’ll reach the Waterlands, the countryside just outside of Amsterdam. Soon it’s cows and farmers’ signs offering up freshly made ice cream or milk.
We'll discuss water and land management, see an old-school windmill, explain why the Dutch are so bike-crazed, and how they used these paths during the Second World War in search of the goods they needed to survive. There will be plenty of photo opportunities along the way as we cruise through a few villages and stop to take it all in.
Because the Netherlands is relatively flat, one does not need to be in top shape to partake and the electric bike makes it a breeze. We'll spend most of our time outside the city for a relaxed cycle journey.

5.00What a fabulous tour! We did this tour this afternoon with Kevin as our guide and it was so enjoyable. Kevin was super friendly and had a lot of interesting information to share, the bikes were comfortable and fun to ride, and the countryside was beautiful.

5.00Those Amsterdames country side bicycle tour was an excellent afternoon. Our guide Kevin was a lot of fun and super knowledgeable about Amsterdam and the surrounding areas. He truly seemed to enjoy spending a couple hours with us in the tour. It was fun to get out of the hustle of the city and see some nearby villages..best part is stopping for an ice cream!! The e-bikes are easy to ride and the pace was perfect. I can’t wait to go back and book the longer tour with this fine company.

5.00We were nervous to try biking, especially out of the city center, but this quickly became our favorite tour of the trip! The E-Bikes were so fun and made it so effortless. We loved the loop through the country side and it was so relaxing and memorable. Jasper was the best guide. Don’t hesitate to book this tour!

5.00It was a great opportunity to get out of the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam, and see how others live in the country! The worst area was the intersection before and after the ferry! The best was when we stopped and got information about the area we were at! Best way to take a break from big city!

5.00We had a fantastic afternoon biking through the outskirts of Amsterdam. It was a highlight of our trip! We highly recommend. Our guide was great, informative and fun. Pace was brisk. And the E-bikes were THE BEST! Other groups we encountered on traditional bikes had several riders struggling, our group just zipped along. Don’t be intimidated about the city portion, it was very manageable. You only need to be a basic bike rider and you’ll have a great time. Just book it- you’ll love it.
