Join a road trip through the most famous fjords in the coastal area of Tromsø. On this tour, you'll discover places with breathtaking scenery, you'll have a chance to take the best photos and get to enjoy homemade food on a picnic in the Arctic. Meanwhile, possibly spotting wildlife!

When exceptional situations arise (e.g. weather cancellations) it is important to reach you. This is easiest if you provide your best contact number on the road (phone number + correct country code)
The place where you will be staying at (Hotel, Air BnB or other) in case we need to contact you
Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking as well as medical condition if needed
Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. Make sure you wear appropriate winter clothes and shoes.
A small amount of walking is involved, you must be able to walk 200m or be prepared to wait in the vehicle.

Please be prepared for limited toilet facilities, there will be a gas station stop during the drive, however the tour itself is in the wild Arctic nature where the only toilet possibilities are in the forest (there are no pre-built facilities)
Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if less than 4 passengers per tours. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
The itinerary is subject to change and the viewing locations will be chosen based on the weather and environmental conditions on the day of the tour

5.00Stunning views and a very friendly atmosphere. The small group size allowed our guide Aneta to really tailor the tour for everyone on it. She was very welcoming and interesting to talk to. As well as being a great photographer!

5.00I strongly recommend the Winter Fjord Road Trip with Wandering Owl for anyone looking to get outside of downtown Tromsø and experience a bit of Arctic Norway. Our tour guide, Max, was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. The small group aspect (7 guests with 1 tour guide) made the experience more like an adventure with friends than a drive with strangers. If you're looking to do something fun and see some beautiful sights, don't miss out on this experience!

5.00Amazing experience with Ellie as our guide! There are no words for the natural beauty of the fjords in winter. We loved the lunch in a frozen beach with breathtaking view where the food was all vegan :) thank you!

5.00We had an amazing day with our guide Max. He was knowledgable and passionate about our natural surroundings. The day was magic clear skies, the light on the mountains was surreal. Max ensured our small group was not overrun with other tourists. Such an enjoyable experience.

5.00The tour with Aneta was very nice and interesting. We were escorted to panoramic points of the Fjords. We had lunch by the sea. Very comprehensive in explaining how Norwegians live in these magnificent places. Excellent driving

5.00Would definitely recommend if you want to explore the fjords around Tromsø! Our guide, Max, was very knowledgeable and engaging. He knew the perfect spots! We had coffee and chai with sandwiches on the beach while it snowed, it was incredible. We even lucked out and had a small group of four of us, felt like our own private excursion! Thank you so much to Max for a memorable experience!!

5.00We had an amazing trip thanks to Aneta. The weather was cloudy when we started off however Aneta is very knowledgeable and took us to the best viewing spots at the perfect time when the clouds parted. The scenery was magical and Aneta’s photography skills were an added bonus. Would highly recommend doing this tour of the fjords.
