3.00The tour itself was good- places are interesting- one stop of 2 hours was too long and then took 2 hours to get back to the city. Main issue for us was Tommy the tour guide who was knowledgeable however had missed the fact we were on a holiday trip not a military exercise- he shouted at people to stop talking, repeated everything 3 times and made you co firm it. Said if more than 5 minutes late would leave us behind. I get managing 42 people is tricky but there is a way to go about it and this wasn’t it. He expects you to go I. Line and buy the tickets for the attractions prior to the tour but it doesn’t say that anywhere. I would say do the tour but check who the guide is first!

5.00The schedule for each place is pretty tight and therefore group cooperation is important to ensure the smooth running of the program. These places have great views and it's really worth the visit. Our tour guide Tony is a great one to work with,. he is really considerate, efficient, and helpful.

5.00Be prepared for the unexpected weather. Pack a small umbrella and/or poncho. The weather definitely made things harder to enjoy, but that wasn’t anyone’s particular fault. Our guide, KC, did his best despite the circumstances.

5.00It is a highly recommended tour, especially if you are lucky to have Sunny as your tour guide. She switches between English and Mandarin effortlessly, providing all the necessary as well as fun information in such a manner that everyone knows exactly what to do and when and where to be back at the meeting points. Sunny is passionate about the natural beauty of her homeland and shares her passion with tour participants - I could not help but fall in love with Taiwan simply by listening to her. Surely, the Geopark, the waterfall and the stunning coastal views from Jiufen make Taiwan a real gem!

3.00The tour covers the coast, a waterfall and two towns. We were on a bus with ca. 40 people. To see the landscape it is beautiful, the two towns are extremely touristy and not really worth while. Worst was the tour guide (Eric) who would not stop shouting in the microphone during the trips on the bus, repeating instructions continuously and treating the guests like stupid children, not giving any useful cultural or historical information to get to know the country better. I would not book the tour again.

5.00What a fantastic tour we did exploring highlights from the Taiwan countryside. Our guide Tommy (local Taiwanese gent) was absolutely fantastic, giving us insights and organising things that just made the day seamless such as lunch and tea. Tommy did a fantastic job shepherding the group around (which would not have been easy given the number of people in the group (a full bus) and different nationalities. We had a few additional things to pay for along the way e.g. National Park entrance, lantern fee, lunch etc but this was all well spelt out in the itinerary. Overall the tour was an absolute bargain - around AUD$150 for me and my husband including the extras. When you consider you get a full day’s travel with that I thought it was excellent. Yeah I watched Tik Tok videos of how people did all of this themselves but who can honestly be bothered with that when it’s all organised for you. Thank you Tommy and thank you Viatour! This was the highlight of our 7 day Taipei/HK trip!

5.00I had this tour yesterday in order to get to see these places in just one day without having to think about how to get there + logistics. Everything went very well, the times were perfectly measured, and I had a really good day (no need to say that the places we visited were beautiful!). Our guide was Cheney, a good man that cares about what he does and remains always available to help you or to answer any question you may have. It was a pleasure. Highly recommended!!

4.00Our guide Eric was well organized, had great eating /snacking recommendations . Timelines were good , on time . Managed the large group well , being over 30 in the group . Would recommend this guided tour to all Taipei visitors
