  Nature is really beautiful. Joseph was a very good guide. Always had interesting explainations with a comical twist. He allowed us plenty of time at each stop. I recommend.

  I booked this tour as it showed it reaches Jiufen before the crowds but it changed its itinerary without consent! Jiufen was done last and it was packed 😞! The bus had tiny , cramped seats . Uncomfortable for a full day of travel. Sadly, had to wait for fellow guests who didn't stick to the scheduled departure time. The guide Emma was good and fluent in English.

  The day-trip was wonderful made possible for the extraordinary guide Sophie Wu. She was very knowledgeable, entertaining and well organized. I recommend this trip 100%.

  It was great overall. David is a good tour guide and provided insight throughout the tour. We weren't also in a really nice double decker tour bus

  The plan was good, the sites were interesting, ant the tour was well organized However, the guide didnt give much info about the places we visited , and was trying to sell all kinds of stuff throughout the tour

  Tour guide was selling too much stuff and did not talk much about the area we visited. Lack of information. We got lost on our way back at Jiufen. Not enough time at stops. Good time planning. 4 stars because of the places we visited.

  At the first stop, I didn't know how I could miss the bus and was left at the destination. I actually was standing outside waiting 15 minutes before the call time but did not see anyone coming out. There were many buses parked there and somehow I could not find the right bus. Good thing I could find the phone number of the tour guide who advised me to take a taxi to the next destination. Good thing I had some cash with me, otherwise I wouldn't know what to do, got stuck in an unfamiliar place. It cost me an extra TWD1300 for the taxi. The tour itself was ok as the destinations were for tourists. I think the members of the tour should be in a whatsapp or wechat group so information from the tour guide can be streamlined.

  This tour company is relatively new to tripadvisor but very well established in Taiwan (check google reviews). The type of transportation and presence of guide plus driver vs. driver alone seems to depend on the size of the group and other clients on the day in question. I joined a group of 40 other tourists on a coach bus and had a great day of sightseeing, walking and exploring. Pickup was smooth and orderly leaving from Ximen MRT. Dillian was a fantastic guide, giving excellent history/background as well as tips for where to sample food/tea, where to buy souvenirs, and so forth. The cost of the tour is less than half what other small group tour companies offer, and covers transportation, the guide, and insurance. You can pick or choose what extras you want(e.g. geopark admission, food). I got almost everything added on and it was only USD 10-15 on top of the tour price which is still excellent compared to what other companies are offering on TripAdvisor for “all included” tours. If you have already decided that you want to visit Yehliu, Shifen and Jiufen in a group, this is the tour company to go with. If you’re not sure on the destination, this tour exceeded my expectations even on a cold rainy day. Thak you Dillian!
