  No matter the weather, in our case we had drizzle, snow and cold, the Tour operator has enough experience for you to enjoy the tour making adjustments to the original itinerary, super recommended, tips: overnight in Groveland a day early because they are roads that are better to travel in daylight than at dawn to arrive at 8am

  We enjoyed this tour very much. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the geology and plant life around us. He kept a comfortable pace for the group, and clearly knew all the paths so he could adjust to our needs and preferences as we went along.

  Perfectly wonderful day! Did the ‘Discovery Walk’ with Nate in Yosemite NP. Nate was fun, relaxed, knowledgeable and kept us engrossed in every detail about the park. He has such a great respect for Yosemite. He patiently answered all our questions. We hiked the Valley for 5 hours and saw every hi-light. No driving, no having to find a parking spot, just hiking off the beaten paths, away from the crowds and living in the beauty of Yosemite. No worries, just a chance to be in one of the most incredible parks in the U.S. and learning everything about its history and what’s happening currently. Have to do this tour!

  We booked this trip because we did not want to miss anything. We will only be in California once and thought it wise to go with a guide. And what a guide! Nat was amazing. He kept us entertained and informed from beginning to the end. I will admit, we lucked out as we were the only people on the trip We took our own lunch so cannot comment on that. But Nat, our guide was full of facts and information. We saw everything that we wanted to see and much more. The park is beyond imagination. It is all so huge.   I had such a great time! Bryant made the whole experience feel like hanging out with a good friend rather than just a tour. He knew the park inside and out, shared plenty of fun facts, and made sure everything ran smoothly. His energy, humor, and knowledge made the day unforgettable. Bryant is truly a legend—highly recommend!

  Our guide, Nate, needs to find a new job. He made his displace for guiding the walking tour well now. I will start with the lack of explanation about our surroundings. There were six in the tour and if we did not ask questions, the guy did not speak. He walked extremely fast and was always far ahead of the group. We socialize more with the family that was with us. I fell on uneven ground that he did not warn us about, it was part paved park dirt with a high lip, and he made no effort or concern about my bleeding knee. When it was lunchtime instead of taking us to a picnic table, he made us sit on a log, and we had to try and eat a sandwich that was balanced on our legs, with the rest of the lunch on the ground. Then he tells us not to leave any crumbs. The walk was just that, a walk. The guy did not point out anything other than what was in the brochure. The walk did not measure up to the advertisement. Was expecting a little more of a hike with a little more out of the way, destinations or things that you don’t normally see. I feel the effort that Nate put into this walk was him just going through the motions. He never offered the group snacks or water other than what was given to us as at the beginning in a souvenir bottle. The family that was with us was from the UK and when it was time to drop them off instead of taking them back to the parking lot where their car was, where he did pick them up from Nate drop them off at a different location and had them walk back to their car. That was probably the final straw for us when our opinion of Nate. I really can’t believe he made us eat our lunch while we sat on a log. The park is full of picnic areas and we were told to sit on a log and try and eat lunch. And you’re not allowed to leave crumbs for the bears, he was really ridiculous. Maybe a different guide would’ve given us a different experience, but I would not recommend this to anyone.

Guide never offered snacks and nothing but a souvenir bottle. And the family of 4, from England that we toured with were not even dropped off at the parking lot they were picked up from. Guide made them walk from a different location

  Nate Smith was an amazing guide. He provided lots of informative fact about Yosemite including vegetation, indigenous peoples and rock formations. As expected having a guide allowed us to see more and minimize the crowds visiting the park that day. The behind the scenes staff was committed to providing everything we needed for an optimal experience.

  My two sons and I had a wonderful experience in the Valley with Annette as our guide. Extremely informative and she dished out plenty of great advice for our follow-on days visiting the park on our own.
