Tram Ton pass–Fansipan–Tram Ton pass Distance 24km–duration 10-12h The Fansipan is the highest peak mountain in Indochina peninsula. Elevation is 3143m, A day trek is very hard and difficult, for experience hiking people. It takes 12 km/1 way, ~1400m elevation, total 10-12h treking You have an early breakfast in morning by yourself and then we take a car/scooter(if 1 person) to Tram Ton pass at 6h00 am, 2000m about sea level and it is the place to start the trek. Crossing bamboo, old trees forest with colorful flowers and nice streams. Lunch on the way (camping site at 2800 m) ,we will arrive to the top about 12h/13h, amazing view of Sapa town and Vietnam - China mountain, hunting unique pictures. You can take a cable car by yourself to Sapa about 14/15h00 ( You pay cable car ticket by yourself) or trek back same way to Tram Ton pass to take the car back Sapa town about 17h/19h00, depending your speed. Cable car will close from 24 November / 2025 to 15 / December / 2025.

5.00Mr Tinh was amazing! He was very friendly and hospitable. He picked us up from the hotel, offered us a room to freshen up before taking our overnight bus back to Hanoi, he even dropped us off at the bus station. The guide Mr Choo was so kind and friendly. He checked in with us from time to time throughout the hike! We had a great experience! Thank you Mr Tinh and Choo.

5.00Great private trekking tour to the top of Fansipan! We both found the hike very challenging (30 year olds who both ran marathons in the past 3 months). The elevation gain is no joke. Very rewarding in the end!

5.00Fansipan mountain is a great climb though not for unfit nor inexperienced trekkers. Using a guide such as Chay from Mr Tinh’s team is recommended. I would advise climbing up and cable car down unless you are super fit and are looking for a tougher experience (8-9hrs climbing up and down) Great communication and local knowledge from Mr Tinh is invaluable .

5.00Highly recommend booking with Sapa Original Trek if you are interested in a Fansipan trek. My experience with them was super smooth and enjoyable. My guide was very accommodating with my pace and provided lots of interesting information on areas throughout the hike. The meal provided was delicious and included a good amount of food. I could not think of one bad thing to say about them.

5.00The trip was perfectly organized although we had made our booking quite spontaneously only one day ahead. Our guide was super sporty and could tell us a lot about life here while climbing the mountain. Very nice lunch at 2800m height. Another highlight was to have a spacious room for our luggage with a private shower and even a bed for a nap after hiking, because we had no accommodation after the trekking as we continued by night bus on the same day. All staff members were super friendly and helpful and accompanied us until we were picked up by the night bus. Thanks a lot to the team and our guide!

5.00This was an amazing trek. I found the company on Google and used WhatsApp to get in contact. The communication was excellent and organisation was just as good. The hike itself was on a very sunny day but there was still cloud cover at the summit of fansipan. This did not take anything from the hike and the views on the way to the peak. My guide, Mr So, was brilliant he had lots of local knowledge and knew every single section of the way. He carried the lunch which we had at one of the camps and I was given some water for the trip. I was presented with a medal and certificate once at the peak. I cannot recommend this trip and company highly enough

5.00We spent a great time with Chai. The trek is a bit hard if you are not used to do it in one day. The guide cooked Banh mis for us and that gave me the strengh to reach the summit. Thank you!
