It was a nice tour! Jason showed us about green tea and about his city. Also we visited the tea plantations. The food was really good!

Jason's dragonwell tea tour with lunch was awesome! We got to experience picking tea leaves in the beautiful tea gardens outside hangzhou. After picking, the tea master showed us how to fry the leaves over a wok and we got to try it ourselves. The tea ceremony and local lunch was superb. At the end they even gave us the tea we picked/processed to take home. An authentic and full-circle tea experience. Thank you Jason for the fun day out! Would go again :)

This is the second time I've done this activity and I would do it again. This time Jason personalized the experience even more and added extra tea related activities. Food was amazing and we all had a great time.

Recently, my family and I had a great experience with Jason in arranging a Chinese tea picking at Hangzhou Dragon Well Tea Village. Prior to our departure day from Shanghai, we communicate with him through email and Wechat to get some advices on what we should do in Hangzhou. He suggested that we could consider to have a private tea picking and tasting as we have yet to experience any of it. We had a great time in the tea village. We learnt some much about difference type of Chinese tea. We spend about 30 minute picking new fresh tea leaves before we headed to a tea house to dry our leaves. We then had our lunch in one of a restaurant in the tea village. By the time we had our lunch, our tea leaves were dried and readied to be roasted. We spend a few minutes to roast our leaves with the assistance of a guru. Each of us including my young daughter were able to experience roasting the leaves. Subsequently, a tea lady shared with us how to make the best Chinese tea. It was quite a similar experience of wine tasting that we had in France. Overall, Jason was a super guide. He spoke with fluent English as he had being working in US. He was very friendly and allowed us to take our time to experience in the tea house. He spend his time taking many pictures for us. He also send us to our hotel in Hangzhou which was about 40 minute journey. The next day, we asked him to be our tour guide to experience doing silk painting. I highly recommend Jason as he is very professional and ethical in carrying his job.

Jason organized the trip to the tea village near Hangzhou within one day. He is a really friendly tour guide, who knows the area and the important information about it. All of us, my parents and my wife and me, enjoyed the day very well.

Jason is a super nice guide. He knows Hangzhou really well and he really loves his city. It is always better to be guided by a real local who knows the real tea producers and who can point you to the right places to go. Whether you have a lot of time or you are in Hangzhou for a short period of time, you will have a great time - Hiring Jason was by far one of our best investments during our time in China. We learned a lot about the production of the Dragon Well. We had the opportunity to make some - Also the place where he took us for lunch was incredible.
