Explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas on this 2-day tour, which leaves Cusco to visit a lively market town and two Incan archaeological sites. Board a train to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Town and spend the night in a 3-star hotel.

For the overnight in Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu town), please take a small backpack OR carry-on suitcase with extra clothes. Checked baggage are not allowed on the train, they charge 50% extra each way. Whats most people do is leave at their Cusco hotels which is free and safe.
Note: If you require a seat for the infant, we can assign one for an extra cost.
Machupicchu tickets will be assigned according availability at the time of booking. First choice will be Machupicchu Circuit 2 ( but we suggest to book this option at least between 2 or 3 months in advance). Once Machupicchu Circuit 2 is sold out, we will assign Machupicchu Circuit 1 or Machupicchu Circuit 3 as last choice.
About stroller: Only in some areas you can use it, most people don´t bring it as the area is not accessible at all.
About Wheelchair: This option is provide as private tour (extra cost) but not all areas are wheelchair accessible at all.
This tour does not have specific restrictions unless you are in a very bad serious health conditions

Cusco
After breakfast at your hotel, our guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby between 7:30 to 7:45 am in our transport and drive you from Cusco passing through Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo & Pucapucara (no stops).
Awana Kancha
Here we stop for about 15 minutes, the purpose is learn about textiles and the weaving process. We can appreciate different species of Llamas, Alpacas, Vicuñas and take pictures them as well.
Taray
From this lookout point, we will have the time to capture the best classic pictures of the Sacred Valley with its famous terraces along the Urubamba river.
Pisac
Will drive you up to Pisac Inca site to enjoy stunning views over the valley. Here you can appreciate temples, residences, altars, channels and learn all about the Incan agricultural methods shared by our expert guides.
Pisac Market
We will visit a traditional market in the Village of Pisac and interact with the local people and purchase some local souvenirs. the Pisac Market is very famous and highly visited as we can learn about pottery, jewelry and textiles.
Urubamba
Here in Urubamba we will stop for Lunch (Not included), most of the restaurants here offer Buffet Lunch.
Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo
After lunch, we continue our journey to Ollantaytambo where we will visit this amazing Inca site, which is an area of important Inca constructions, built during the Incan times. This is an extraordinary Inca citadel where we will find an amazing rock formation representing the Inca god Wiracocha.
Finally at 3:00 or 4:00pm we will take you to the train station located in the same town of Ollantaytambo and board the Inca Rail Machupicchu train to Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu town). This train journey allow you to appreciate the fascinating scenery along the sacred Vilcanota River
Aguas Calientes
Arrival in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town) is around 6:10 pm, where the guided tour ends and you are dropped off at your hotel for the night. After check-in, you are free to explore Aguas Calientes on your own.

After breakfast at your hotel, our guide will pick you up and take you to the bus station to board the bus and take a short ride up to the main entrance gate of Machu Picchu to begin a unique experience by exploring one of the New Seven Wonders of the World accompanied with our professional guide who will share with you all his knowledge about the history, traditions and more that surrounds this mysterious and enigmatic Inca citadel. Once the guided tour is over, you will have extra free time to explore the marvelous of Machu Picchu on your own. After you end up your visit, board the bus down to Aguas Calientes for Lunch (not Included) and enjoy some extra time at the town to get some local souvenirs and then board the train back to Ollantaytambo train station
Ollantaytambo
After the tour of Machu Picchu you will be arriving at Ollantaytambo train station at 3:55pm where our transport will be waiting for your and take you back to Cusco. Expected arrival time in Cusco will be by 6:00pm.

5.00I booked a tour because I was traveling solo and wanted to remove the guesswork. It was a great experience and made visiting the sacred valley and machu picchu very easy. The stops are interesting and give a wide understanding of the history and culture. I found the hotel in Aguas Calientes to be fine and close to shops and food. The drivers were accomodating and know how to navigate the area well. The guides share so much information and really add to the experience. They also made sure we had great photos and time to do what we needed. Special shoutout to Gary, Paul and Ramon. I'm sorry to anyone I missed - there were many people who made this a great experience. I felt that everyone really wanted me to have a good experience and did what they could to make that happen.

We all appreciated Fabricio’s care and attention throughout the two day tour, especially given we were traveling with my 79 year old dad. This was a special trip for his birthday bucket list and we were lucky to have such a great time and the nicest guide!

3.00Tour guides were great, a few admin issues and it being quite expensive compared to others receiving the same experiences and ticket classes as us though. Efram for Sacred Valley Day 1 was a great host and tour guide. The day was pretty nice outside of the bus being a bit hot. The lunch on day 1 however was an interesting experience. We were taken to a massive restaurant away from all the other restaurants and any other food options and given the choice to pay 80 sol for a buffet, or sit there for an hour and drink water while everyone else ate. To add to this wonderful experience live operatic Spanish Christmas carols were performed for us at a volume that prevented conversation or digestion for the entire hour. It was a massive complex seating hundreds, exclusively populated from tour busses. One of those commerce via hostage type mills. The animal sanctuary was good, but the silver shop could be left out to improve the tour more. Also our itinerary stated we had 1 hr at Pisac market but we were only given 30 min, which was a shame as we were very much looking forward to that. We ended day 1 after being given only 30 minutes to climb up and down Ollantaytambo so we could rush to the train, which we only then found out we were seated separately on despite booking together, and that it wasn’t a vista done as booked, apparently they shun their responsibility by saying you only get vistadome in one direction as per your ticket, but that’s not stated in the booking process. There was someone waiting for us in Aguas to walk us to hotel, we got a nice room overlooking the river, but our friends had a noisy night on the other side of the hotel overlooking the train tracks. The day of Machu was all pretty decent. Our private tour guide Paul was an excellent investment and we had a wonderful morning with him before the clouds closed in for the afternoon group. We booked and paid for circuit 1 and 3 which was good, but we did have to rush a bit to get back to the train station by 12:16pm for our return vistadome train. This was again not great booking as groups who were only doing 1 circuit were afforded 2pm return trains, while we paid an extra $155usd for the extra circuit and guide, and were rushed back onto the early train. Paul did his best to maximise our time, and give us a few moments alone, however there was not much time for the quiet contemplation that Machu deserves. The vista dome train turned out to be completely unnecessary and a waste of $80usd each. I wish it had been on the way up as it would have been far more impactful, however I would not pay for it again In either direction. Overall Machu is amazing and worth doing however you can do it, but some of the admin and booking on this tour could have been better. i n either direction.

5.00Gary Nelson was very knowledgeable and his information was well delivered. He was patient with my husband needing to walk a little slower walking downhill because of his knee problem. Gary was always on time. Overall the trip was informative; not just about Machu Picchu but also much more about the Inca culture and history. Thanks for making our trip so amazing.
