The tour starts by picking you up from your hotel early in the morning (from 05: 30 to 06: 30 am approx.) From the city of Cusco, you will travel to Ollantaytambo train station for one and a half hours in a private car. Afterwards, board the tourist train to Machu Picchu village (1.40 minutes tour) where our transfer will be waiting for you with the name of the company.
Aguas Calientes
Once you reach Aguas Calientes, board a bus to Machu Picchu where your guide will share all the necessary information about this world wonder. This tour will last approximately 2 hours 30 minutes, enough time to take all the necessary photos.

The highlight of our entire experience was our guide, Miguel Ángel. Miguel was incredibly knowledgeable — you could feel his passion for Incan history in every explanation he shared. He brought the site to life with stories, insights, and details we never would have discovered on our own. His optimism, energy, and positive attitude kept the entire group motivated, and he made even the toughest parts of the day feel enjoyable. He was patient, professional, and always made sure we were comfortable and getting the most out of our visit. Thanks to Miguel and the whole Inka Trek team, Machu Picchu wasn’t just a trip, it was an experience we’ll remember forever. 5.00I am so glad we booked this tour, we were only in Peru for 3 days as part of our honeymoon. We didn't really know what to expect when we booked the tour but we were nothing short of amazed! Communication prior to the tour was really good. The day of the tour, we were picked up from our hotel in Cusco and taken to the train station. We were met at the train station and directed to the train. We paid for the train with large windows to really get the best out of the journey, we were provided with snacks and water and the scenery was stunning. When we arrived at Machu Picchu, we were met by Roy, who was lovely. Roy then took us on the tour up to and around Machu Picchu, he was so full of knowledge and happy to answer any questions and taking photos for us in all the best spots! I think it goes without saying how magical Machu Picchu is. After the tour we stopped at a local restaurant and the food was just incredible. We then had some time to explore the market before the train back to Cusco, where we were taken back to our hotel. 100% recommend this tour!

5.00Well coordinated and our Macchu Picchu guide was very knowledgeable. Warning to others to bring motion sickness pills! The drive to and from are no joke on the bumpy roads and switchbacks.

5.00Awesome experience visiting Machupicchu. Our guide Miguel was extremely knowledgeable, polite and friendly. Our group of 4 was the ideal size to go around the site at a leisurely pace and ask our questions and get answers from Miguel. It was a very long day (we started at 6:40am and finished at 10pm) but it was well worth it for a once in a lifetime experience!

5.00We were really impressed with this tour. There are multiple steps to get to Machu Picchu from Cusco (bus, train, bus, entry, and all of that to get back) and this booking took care of it all. There were different guides each step of the way (who clearly were all in communication with one another) and it felt seamless. The highlight of it all was our guide in Machu Picchu, Rolly. What he shared was so insightful and he took extra time to take really thoughtful pictures (and videos!) of everyone on the tour. We’d do this again if we had more time on the trip!
