Your safari begins with a pickup from your Arusha hotel or Kilimanjaro Airport at approximately 8:00 AM. After a 2-hour drive, you will arrive at the Tarangire gate for your first game drive. Tarangire is famous for its massive herds of elephants and the iconic, ancient Baobab trees that dot the landscape. What makes this park unique is the Tarangire River, which serves as the primary water source for wildlife in the region. During your drive, you can expect to see lions, giraffes, zebras, and buffaloes gathering near the water. It is a birdwatcher’s paradise with over 550 species, providing a wild and authentic bush experience before you head to your accommodation for the evening.

On the second day, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a spectacular game drive inside the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. This park is unique because it is a self-contained ecosystem with walls 600 meters high, acting as a natural enclosure for over 25,000 large animals. It is one of the best places in Africa to see the "Big Five" in a single day, especially the rare black rhino. You can expect to see dense populations of lions, hyenas, wildebeests, and vibrant pink flamingos at Lake Magadi on the crater floor. After an afternoon of wildlife viewing, you will ascend the crater rim and drive back to Arusha town or the airport for your departure.

5.00It was the best of all, we saw many wild animals, we were all very happy once we saw a lion pride from close distance just day one in Tarangire, and we really saw a lot of elephants and others include the famous baobab trees in Tarangire, Our last day was even better, where we went on Ngorongoro Crater, we discovered more than wildlife, Our guide was very experienced from driving, knew the areas in the park and he had good communication to track animals via radio call with other guides on the park. We had a nice car, a very comfortable lodge in Karatu and a great and safe meal at all. Once you see the Tanzania Songbirds Safaris, know that is a great company and they will definitely reach your needs for Tanzania tours and Safari.

5.00Our friends went on safari last year with Tanzania Songbirds Safaris and they had a great experience with the team for all the tours they did with them. And when asked for the recommendation for the tour company they just direct us here without hesitation. We had a good conversation even before the safari confirmation and they are very happy to assist and to be honest for us. Our guide Isra and Erick was a fantastic safari and driver guide of Tanzania Parks. We went on our 2 day safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater. We saw a lot of animals, including the big five and we are happy for much interest in facts we learned from them about the wildlife. We slept on Karatu at (Marera Valley lodge). It's a very beautiful lodge and the service is the best there. If it's the company to choose for the safari I definitely recommend Tanzania Songbirds Safaris.

5.00It was a good time we had during our safari for the best 2 days in Northern Tanzania. You can join this trip and feel energetic with the guides. Our guide during the safari's name is Erick and he knows well about animals and safari in general. We saw a lot of animals, Erick he's a true expert of wildlife in Tanzania. We enjoyed everything during our 2 day Safari in Tanzania with Eric and Tanzania Songbirds Safaris!

5.00Myself and my partner really enjoyed the safari with Tanzania Songbirds Safaris for an incredible 4 days of safaris, we visited 3 different Parks and each parks we enjoyed by experiencing the nature and unique, (Tarangire national park, Serengeti National park and Ngorongoro Crater). I want thanks to the entire team of Songbirds Safaris for making our honeymoon trip memorable in Tanzania. From the beginning of our trip with the operator Isra, he just accommodated all our needs and made even the price fair enough and we were really satisfied with all the service we got. 5.00Our great safari of 2 days in Tarangire park and Ngorongoro Crater was Wonderful and a very enjoyable moment. Our guide Eliya was incredible for looking for the animals, The parks were like paradise and we really enjoyed it the most. We saw a lot of different animals, and learned so much about interesting facts. Behind the experience in the park we enjoyed one night in our Mid-range lodge in the small town and also the meal and the jeep are all perfect. I recommend this safari experience.

5.00It's one of the most beautiful experiences of safaris we have in Africa, We went on a safari in Kenya for 3 days, but Tanzania safaris is top notch and above and beyond this is a great destination to visit in Tanzania. Our experience and safari in Tarangire national park and Ngorongoro Crater we saw a lot of animals, this lucky 2 days safari we saw a lot of predators include also 4 out of big 5, I'm sure we will come one day in Tanzania again for more adventure and discover Serengeti and hope to see leopard and cheetah., that our animals we miss to saw on the last safaris. Thanks so much to our best Tanzania guide, Mr.Erick who dedicates these 2 days for taking us to the parks., your knowledge, driving skills, and sharing with us the knowledge you have about wildlife is excellent. 5.00We have a good time in Safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater and we feel connected with nature. Our guide was incredible with high knowledge, experience and made this trip a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. We started our safari on day one in Tarangire national park and we saw a lot of animals just on day one This includes many of Zebras, giraffe, elephants and other antelope. Our stay in Karatu village was good and we enjoyed everything including the water, coffee and meals. The second day we went to Ngorongoro Crater (One of the natural wonders of the world), must see place before you leave Africa, the crater floor has a high concentration of the wildlife, including rare Black rhinoceros, the pride of elephants, big elephant bulls, and many animals, that whatever you turn your eyes you see the animals, our guide told us is about (2,500 to 3,000 population of the big mammals on the crater). With Tanzania Songbirds Safaris, plan your trip and make an unforgettable experience in Safari in Tanzania, This I definitely recommend.

5.00We had 2 days, 1 night safari in Tanzania with Songbirds safaris, in January 2026, Our guide driver is pick-up at our hotel in Arusha town and started with the best briefing for our safaris. Our driver guide (Erik) was amazing, he knew a lot, was very helpful and patient. We did, Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater. We saw a lot of animals that we don't have in our country., Erik is very honest and has a lot of knowledge about animals. The accommodations, and the meals are all good. We recommend Tanzania songbirds safaris and with our guide Erik.
