Enjoy a two hour cruise traversing the deep waters of Milford Sound, located in Fiordland. Your cruise will take you past St Anne’s lighthouse and out into the Tasman Sea. Informative guides point out scenic highlights along the way, such as the Bowen Falls (dropping 160 metres seaward), Sinbad Gully (a classic example of a hanging valley), snow-capped Mount Pembroke, and the awe-inspiring Mitre Peak itself, towering 1692 metres from the ocean floor.

Very enjoyable cruise. There is nothing at the Milford Sound terminal except toilets so don't expect to have coffee or lunch there. Parking is expensive but you can pay by card.

Great customer service and so informative during the journey but not over the top We loved the reversing up to the waterfall and free coffee and tea, wasn't as packed as bigger boats,

This was an absolutely brilliant experiance and surpassed expectations. Choosing the last cruise of the day meant that we were virtually the only boat on the sound. The big boats that take the coach trips seemed all to have moored. The scenery can only be described as majestic. The crew were helpful and informative. The 2 hour cruise meant we went right down the sound and onto the sea. We had very good weather. Th smaller boat meant we went very close to the waterfalls, I would highly reccomend Mitre and the late afternoon cruise. It also meant the drive from Te Anau was not at all busy.

Comfy boat, tea coffee were great, Fun commentary AND of course STUNNING - it drizzled then cleared up and then 2 dolphins played with us as we cruised!!! Seemed like you could walk to the building and 5 diff tour operators were there and you could get on a boat within a few hours if you didn’t pre-book
