The first goal of the trip is chasing the amazing Northern Lights. As we go through the Auroral Oval Zone, far away from the city lights, this is one of the best places in the world to observe this unforgettable light show.

Enjoy a 3-course dinner at our Arctic restaurant and unwind after in the panorama lounge with a drink and an engaging Northern Lights lecture. As night falls, rest in your cozy cabin, gently rocked by the waves as we head toward whale-watching areas.

The next day, wake up to the possibility of spotting whales just outside your cabin. Spend hours observing these majestic creatures up close in peaceful ocean surroundings. Please check in at the Norwegian Travel Shop, located on the top floor of Tromsø Havn Prostneset at Samuel Arnesens gate 5, any time on the day of your departure during their opening hours from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The crew and tour guides are lovely, couldn’t do more for you to ensure upmost comfort. Knowledgeable about the whales and northern lights with several talks across the 2 days. We learnt lots of new things. Cabins are comfy and warm and there’s several food choices at each meal. All you of what we had was lovely. Whilst we didn’t get to see the northern lights due to cloud cover the polar twilight gave impressive scenery and beautiful colours in the sky. We did see loads of humpback whales including several breaches and several pods of killer whales some getting pretty close. An amazing trip and one to remember for a lifetime. Well worth going, be mindful whilst late December is great for whale activity the light makes it hard to take great photos.
