5.00Boat cruise stopping at specific docks where unique resorts are located and certain wildlife. Some passengers get on and off. Beautiful scenery. Would highly recommend.

5.00What a great trip. A bit rough due to a low in the straight but the boat was big enough to handle the swell. Good Captain and decky, most knowledgeable and helpful. Saw some beautiful coastline and inlets. Lots of birdlife but to rough for wildlife. Would recommend as an activity in beautiful Picton.

5.00Even with the rainy conditions we thoroughly enjoyed this boat trip because there was plenty of seating inside to look out. We got an appreciation for the vastness of the sound and many of the larger and more famous bays.

2.00Oversold and underdelivered. Sadly, despite careful consideration of all the tours available, I made the wrong choice to do the Cougar afternoon delivery cruise Monday 26 Jan 2026. Weather was good, boat well presented and comfortable and crew friendly and efficient. However, focus was totally on delivering of goods and passengers to just 5 stops. Commentary limited to 3 brief explanations of landmarks but no background info on the unique history or environment features, no marine life possible sightings or habitats, only map available was too small to be legible. Arrived back half an hour earlier than the advertised time feeling there had been many missed opportunities. Picton Tourism operators beware of complacency, every passenger has a voice but not a bottomless purse.
