  Magnificent cruise value for unbeatable price... just take into account that it is a kind of roulette formula, so they will tell you the boat to which you have been assigned along with the itinerary, only 3/4 days before departure... we had a nice ship where we ate very well the M / S LA TERRASSE... the itinerary is VERY tight even if perfectly organized... wake up at dawn all 3 days... I suggest you skip the excursion to EDFU and make it climb from the 110 USD that ask you as entrance fees per person for all the many monuments that you will visit... they will also suggest a fee of about 30 euros per person to give tips to all those who will serve you during the cruise... I have my doubts that they reach everyone .. I would suggest to change them into pieces of 20/50 Egyptian pounds (50 cents / or less than one euro) and give it to you on time to anyone who will offer you a service in those three days - you will never get to the amount required by the guide... fill up with drinks before boarding... on the ship any liquid water in the first place you will pay 5 times more than the prices of any bazaar on the street... do not take the optional excursion that they will offer you to the Nubian village of Aswan is a commercial bin for mass tourists at 40 euros per person... better pay half to get off alone in the dock and bargain to make you a nice trip of 1/2 hours authentic sunset on a felucca.... our guide Ahmed an Egypt with perfect English was formidable... if you can escape from the commercial stops where he will inevitably take you 'as all the guides, to sell you something in shops they know... alone and with the necessary instructions you will do much better business cruise at all

The complete lack of transparency and accountability made it impossible to feel secure or supported as a customer. Planning a trip of this scale requires trust, and unfortunately that trust was repeatedly broken. I would strongly advise future travelers to be cautious, as the level of reliability and customer care fell well below acceptable standards.

• Happy four days on a Nile Cruise

  We booked the tour through Viator. We stayed in Giza for 3 nights before going to Aswan to join the cruise. We were to fly to Aswan from Cairo on 17th. When we were getting ready to leave the hotel, I suddenly saw an email sent to me in the early morning saying the cruse had been cancelled. Luckily, the tour guide/manager Ahmed shawky Ali had contacted us through WhatsApp on the pervious day. When I contacted him, he said "Don't worry, I will sort the matter out. You come to Aswan as planned". We flew to Aswan, a driver was waiting for us. When we we reached the cruise, Ahmed had organised everything and we were asked to pay directly the tour operator and booked our cabin then and there. Within minutes everything was sorted out and we were happy. The 4 day cruise was one of the best experience we had. It was very clean and modern cruise. The food and cabin facilities were excellent. We went to see all the important places, we had dreamed of seeing for a long time. The whole trip was very well organised thanks to our guide/Egyptologist/tour organiser/manger Ahmed. He had meticulously organised everything down to the smallest detail. Only downside was that we had to get up early in the morning everyday to travel to visit sites. It was not of anybody's fault as we hadn't do that we wouldn't be able to see what we saw. For instance, we had to drive almost 4 hours to drive to Abu Simbel. So, we had to leave early. At the end of tour, Ahmed catered to everybody's individual needs and organised their transport to airport, hotels, and wherever they wanted to go. We feel that we were in safe hands. We are very happy that we decided to go on a Nile cruise as it will remain as a life time experience for us.

• Reschedule my tour without any reason

  Avoid "Noor Egypt Tour" — this company is a scam. I booked and paid in full more than six months ago. Just three weeks before my trip, they told me I had to reschedule my tour. I had already purchased my flight tickets, so changing the dates to whatever they decided was cheaper for them was impossible. This company completely ruined my vacation plans. I hope others won’t fall into the same trap.

  Nice boat, food was abundant and varied. It’s short in time (lots of early morning tours) and the guide did what he could with the time he had, was very pragmatic and gave us the needed information. We visited a lot of historical places and got a clue about Egypt's history. Totally worth it!!!

• The Nile cruise was...

  The Nile cruise was overall a good experience — the food was nice and everything went - almost -smoothly. First of all, the staff should be more aware of guests’ privacy and their general behavior if they wish to be called a 5-star cruise. For example, when you sit on the deck to relax, talk, and enjoy the calmness of the Nile, you wouldn’t like to have a camera filming you all the time without your permission or a waiter standing over your head waiting for you to sign a receipt for a bottle of water while eating. On top of that, the “mandatory tip” of €9 per person only made the experience worse and confirmed our feeling that in Egypt, you only get a decent service after paying extra for services already paid for. The sights were very beautiful, although the hot-air balloon ride was canceled for some reason. Also, on the last day there was some miscommunication about our drop-off at the airport, and we ended up having to pay for a taxi to the airport ourselves. It’s a unique experience if you come to Egypt but unfortunately our experience didn’t go as good as expected. Hope others have a better experience than ours!

  We booked for Saturday. We were told that it had be rescheduled for Monday. So we booked extra 2 nights, only for it to be cancelled again with no explanation even after having confirmation the day before that we were good to go. Poor communication and unreliability. Do not recommend and if so triple check they will actually take you and even then don’t count on it. Because of them we didn’t get to do Abu Simbal as we were waiting for cruise to do so as well as Luxor. They essentially ruined half of our trip to Egypt and had to spend two extra days in Aswan doing nothing. And Viator was absolutely no help as well. They said they’d have a manager call me back after saying essentially they could do nothing and then never called me.

  Great experience! The cruise on the Nile aboard the Alnabiltan ship was splendid: the ship is elegant, with nicely decorated and clean rooms. Our guide Mohamed was professional, helpful and very organized in showing us all the attractions of the tour. An experience to do!
