Four days, exploring four iconic locations (Uluru, Kings Canyon, Kata Tjuta and Tjoritja West MacDonnell Ranges) all wrapped up in one tour. This small group adventure encompasses the very best the Red Centre has to offer. There is a very good reason why Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In 1987, the international community recognized the park's spectacular geological formations, rare plants, and exceptional natural beauty. A few of the highlights include exploring Ormiston Gorge, Ochre Pits and Ellery Creek Big Hole, hiking through the Valley of the Winds or Walpa Gorge, and exploring Mutitjulu Waterhole, Kuniya Piti, and Kantju Gorge.
We provide two different sleeping options at our permanent campsites, with twin share safari tents, or you can try out a traditional swag experience. (canvas-covered bedroll)
This tour starts and finishes in Alice Springs only, please advise us of your accommodation at the time of booking.

The scenery is stunning, the group I went with was such nice people and we had the most lovely guide - Adam who shared so many interesting stories about the country and his personal experiences. On the other hand, it can get a bit challenging if you’re not used to camping and hiking a lot. Nonetheless, it’s still such a memorable experience and I’d recommend trying it out.

Activity was excelent! Get ready to be up at 4 am and help with the kitchen. , love the sunrise and watch the stars at night ! My group was mixed of ages , most young people and a few 50+ the first day I complete the trail little later than the group because my short legs !! And I felt so good to complete 4 level difficult trail ! ….. next day I decided to help me with walking poles to go up the mountain, I completed the first 500 steps and our guide Mitch told me could not continue with the group , because I was holding them down, that they were 4 minutes faster than me !! So he told me go back the 500 steps and not continue with the trail ! I felt disappointment because that was the reason I went to this camping …..anyway I understood later he was in a hurry to finished the ride sooner because he was feeling sick and left the group with another guide !! … This company discriminated people for your age ! Just to be aware of that ! He told me to go with. Other 4 persons were walking down hill ! The lady came to replaced Mitch was very nice ! Her name I think was Jim ? Food was very good , and the places you visit are amazing , they provided drinking water and electrolytes , snacks, fruits , and 3 meals a day! You will be in a different camps everyday ! I took the 4 days , 3 nights, so I experience both the cabin bed and the swag , I felt the cabin. Was too hot for me, so the last night I slept outside !!and it was beautiful !

Our group had an atypical experience in that there was "unprecedented"rains resulting in flooding of trails and dirt roads. A blessing for the land, challenging for the guide and group. Our guide, Jordan, is amazing. Personable, patient, knowledgeable, and skilled in the outback. Our group was also small, 6, instead of usual 20 that helped given the weather; and they were a great group that flowed with the events. This was a summer excursion in december. Suppose to be very hot. There is plenty of fresh water and healthy snacks, 3 meals/day provided by company. Guide is driver, trail guide, chief cook; group helps w clean up. The camps are equipped w running water for shower and toilets-greatly appreciated at the end of a hot sweaty day. Cots in tent-cabin are clean and adequate. The van is very comfortable and 4wd which got us through some very muddy dirt roads. The hikes are in beautiful areas, the choices well thought out. Guide is safety conscious. Added kudos to Francois another guide who helped out the 2nd nite when our original camp was too flooded and we used his camp and he cooked a delicious curry. Jordan, your BBQ w beef, kangaroo, and camel with salad while watching sunset over Uluru was amazing. The company is responsive to messaging. I think it has done a great job putting this trip together with appropriate equipment, safety practices, and guide.

We found this tour to be very comprehensive in its coverage of the areas we were visiting. Alex, our driver & guide was brilliant and made the experience one we will cherish for a long time. Her knowledge of the sites visited, including their history and significance to the indigenous people of the area, was comprehensive and revealing. Her enthusiasm for the area was infectious. All 22 disparate travellers pitched in willingly to ensure that the 'chore' element of the camping adventure ran smoothly and we were always ready to GO after every stop. I would strongly recommend this tour as the way to see Australia's outback where you actually get to experience it in a way more closely resembling the days of old.
