Day 1: Marrakesh - Aït Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - The Dadès Gorges

After collecting you from your hotel, riad or airport, you will head to Ouarzazate. On the way we cross the striking Atlas Mountains, crossing through the stunning Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass, 2,260 metres high. At the midpoint of the journey we will arrive at the Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, the most impressive fortified city in all Morocco, and backdrop to movies such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven. After the visit, take the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs to Skoura. Here, you will stop to explore Amridil Kasbah. Then, hit the road to Kelaat M'Gouna, a pretty city in Tinghir Province and capital of the Valley of the Roses. And lastly, you will drive to the Dadès Gorges, where your accommodation awaits you.

Day 2: Dadès Gorges - Todgha Gorges - Merzouga

After breakfast we set off towards the Dadès Valley, crossing on the way the incredible Todgha Gorges where we will stay until lunchtime. With our energy recovered, we move on in the direction of Merzouga, passing through the Jorf palm grove (which produces the best dates) and Erfoud, well known for the fragments of fossils found in the area. Having arrived in Merzouga, we will swap our motor vehicles for camels to immerse ourselves in the desert, and search for the Bedouin camp where we will spend the night. Here, soundtracked by desert silence, we will enjoy one of the most authentic dinners in all Morocco.

If there is one unmissable sight in the desert it is sunrise. Having enjoyed this tranquil moment, the tour returns to its camels, to make for a hotel where we can shower and have breakfast (depending on the type of camp, breakfast and the shower can be before the camel ride). Back in Ouarzazate, your chauffeur will lead you through a different route. Crossing Tafilat and the village of Rissini, where the Alawi Dynasty are originally from and the former capital of the Alawite sultans, you will get to the town of Alnif. Here, drive along the winding roads that cut across the Anti-Atlas, a stunning mountain range. Amazed by the colours and shapes of this elevation, the track will lead you to Tazarine (important Berber village), N'kob and finally, the Draa Valley and its stunning palm grove. In the afternoon, traverse the Anti-Altas through the Tizi n-Tinifift mountain pass and head to Ouarzazate, where you will spend a night at a riad/kasbah

A wonderful adventure, in a country that I had already visited but that I rediscovered in a wonderful way thanks to this tour! After a day in Marrakesh exploring the colorful and vibrantly chaotic Medina, and the wonderful Majorelle Gardens we left for the Atlas mountains, and then continue to Ourzatate and the Dades Gorges area where we stayed in a typical Berber Kazbah. The next day we went to visit two Gorges, among red rocks, typical Berber buildings and green palm groves. Then we head to the Merzouga area, to the dunes, to go and explore the Sahara desert on camels or quads. The arrival at sunset at the desert camp was very impressive, as well as dinner and Berber music to top off the day. At dawn on the fourth day we saw the sun rise from the desert dunes - a beautiful viewwith incredible colors. After breakfast we headed to Agadir, a long drive (the only alternative, unless you want to return to Marrakesh) but still very pleasant and with regular stops for photos, coffee and other needs:) Our guide Rachid deserves a special mention because surely the tour would not have been the same without him - very patient, caring and always ready to meet us and answer our thousand questions! I highly recommend this tour and certainly with Rachid, a very high added value guide who will make your adventure absolutely unique and unforgettable. Shukran!

We had a wonderful trip organised by Rachid. Great communication when planning the bespoke itinerary and we loved his recommendations on all the hotels and activities. Our driver Mohammed was fantastic as well. Very experienced and knowledgeable but also had a big smile and a warm heart.

We just returned from a 4 day tour arriving in the Merzouga Desert. It was a wonderful journey that I will carry in my heart, not only for the experience in the desert but also for the various stops made along the way, for the colorful landscapes and for the villages we crossed. A special thanks goes to Rachid, our driver, patient, kind and caring, excellent driver driving, chose great music for the trip, answered all our curiosities helping us to better understand Moroccan culture and their traditions. The trip was balanced in the hours of travel / rest, great hotels included, good overall value for money, I can only recommend this agency. Everything was perfect! À la prochaine
