Our cruise from Aswan to Luxor, including a visit to Abu Simbel, was absolutely incredible! The scenery along the Nile was amazing, and the experience was made even better thanks to our amazing guide, Talaat Abdo!! Ask for him if you are booking! Talaat really knows his stuff and made the history of Egypt come alive for us and he’s a jokester. From the massive temples at Abu Simbel to the fascinating stories about Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Luxor, he explained everything in a way that was fun and easy to understand. It honestly felt like he wasn’t just sharing facts but taking us on a journey through time. Talaat cared about making the trip special for everyone. He was so friendly and approachable, always happy to answer questions and point out interesting details we’d have missed on our own. Definitely visit the Nubian Village. Talaat made. His stories about Ramses II and Queen Nefertari were so captivating—they really made the site come to life. The cruise itself was also fantastic. The boat was super comfortable, the food was good, for the it’s very good value for the experience! If you’re thinking about doing a cruise in Egypt, I 100% recommend it—and make sure you ask for Talaat Abdo as your guide. He made an already amazing trip unforgettable. Thank you, Talaat!

Amazing way to see the ancient Egypt sites

The cruise was clean and comfortable, it wasn’t the newest or most updated but it served its purpose. The staff on board were so friendly and helpful. And the food was plentiful with lots of variety. Our tours to the ancient Egyptian temples were incredible. Our guide Khaled paid special attention to our kids to make sure they were enjoying their experience and learning. He got them involved in the tours and made it more hands on for them which made the experience so much more meaningful.

Incredible experience cruising the Nile. Loved seeing so many temples and tombs without the stress of having to plan a thing. Talaat was very knowledgeable about the long history of Egypt and made it super easy for us to visit each site. The cruise itself was excellent. Can’t beat relaxing on a sundeck surrounded by the natural beauty of the Nile. Just note there are so many stops you won’t get a lot of down time, but it’s worth it to see all the sites. The photos of these temples don’t do them justice, you have to see their scale in real life to really appreciate them. My personal favourites stops: Hypostyle Hall, Valley of the Kings and the optional extra Nubian village. Just note as this is Egypt there will be a few extra costs like tipping, paying for attractions and a few optional extra activities. However this was all clear before booking so nothing unexpected.
