3.00Viator advertisement was for a 3 day 2 night Nile River cruise between Aswan and Luxor. On day ONE the boat departed Aswan 1430 hrs. Day TWO was a full day. Great. On day THREE my small group was told to disembark at 0800hrs. This is false advertising. Interestingly when Viator sent the link to review its product the header was for a TWO NIGHT cruise. Other reviews about the ssme cruise had pointed out the same false claim, but the advertising has not been changed . Viator advertising should be treated with caution.

5.00The boat and crew were wonderful. The boat was way more than we expected, and so was the service. The kitchen staff were very kind and attentive with cheery dispositions. The food was great as well. There was a lot of variety in dishes and desserts at every meal. The cruise was very smooth. At times, it was hard to tell the boat was in motion as the Nile life drifted by us. It was the first downtime we had on our trip, and we enjoyed every minute of it. As far as the excursions went, Ahmed, our guide, was a very good guide and I appreciated his knowledge at the three sites we went to: Philae (add on), Komombo, and Edfu. But what I appreciated more than that was the man as a whole, a family man, a kindred spirit, a good conversationalist with a great knowledge of history and culture. We really enjoyed our time visiting with him while we cruised, just about life in general. If I had it to do all over, I wouldn't change a thing.
