Having shared the story of Come From Away with almost a million people, and being partnered in life with born and raised Newfoundlander, Deneen, my passion for this place is what drives my desire to share it. My perspective and the connections gained as part of the Come From Away family make for a singular experience for my guests:)
All tours are hosted and guided by me, Deneen, our friend, Newwfoundland music legend Larry Foley, or, schedule allowing, combinations thereof! All 3 of us are connected to Come From Away and excited to welcome you inside the story:)

*PLEASE NOTE: THIS TOUR TAKES PLACE IN ST. JOHN’S, NEWFOUNDLAND, NOT SAINT JOHN, NEW BRUNSWICK. Please check your itinerary. I’d hate for you to end up 1300 miles from me!
*AND...our September 7 outing will be a bit larger, with 15-20 guests rather than 6. This is to accommodate overwhelming demand from Azamara.

Not only was he knowledgable, but he was passionate in his love for his adopted city and just as passionate about bringing St. Johns to the traveler. 5.00We had an absolutely fantastic time on this tour! Our guide, George, was the highlight of the day; he was engaging, knowledgeable, and full of fun. We shared plenty of laughs along the way, and he managed to strike the perfect balance between entertainment and education. In just a few hours, we saw so much of St. John’s & surroundings and learned so much about its history and culture that the time flew by, it certainly didn’t feel like a 5-hour tour. In fact, George generously spent an extra hour with us, which made the experience even more special. He’s incredibly well-spoken and considerate, making sure to accommodate the individual needs of everyone in the group. His fascinating life experiences added depth and richness to the stories he told, making the tour not only informative but also deeply personal. Warm-hearted and kind, George made us feel welcome from the very beginning. Highly recommended!
