Having shared the story of Come From Away with almost a million people, and partnered in life with born and raised Newfoundlander, Deneen, my passion for this place is what drives my desire to share it with you.
All tours hosted and guided by me, Deneen, and our hand picked team of guides, including our friends, Newfoundland music legend Larry Foley, and historian Dave Peters - who descends from one of Newfoundland's earliest settled families - or combinations thereof! All are deeply steeped in the culture and traditions of this land and are excited to welcome you inside the story:)

In 2026, we will be hosting a max of 12 guests per outing. There will be no large bus tours. The personal connections established on our outings are our top priority, and what sets us apart:)

Cape Spear Lighthouse National Historic Site
***Please note that all times given are approximate. I won't rush you:) For a moment, you’ll be the easternmost person in North America. We’ll experience the power of the wild North Atlantic crashing against the rocks, the historical points of interest including the massive cannons installed to defend North America in WW2, and, weather permitting, ascend to the lighthouse, with the most spectacular views anywhere.
Petty Harbour
Just outside of St. John’s is the quaint, working fishing village of Petty Harbour, home to Great Big Sea singer Alan Doyle,

5.00Just an excellent experience to have enjoyed during our trip to St. John's. George is engaging and knowledgeable, and the spot we went for lunch was fantastic. We learned so much about the area and saw things we never would have on our own. Very highly recommend!

5.00George was a blast!! Using humor and education made our 4 hours fly by! Lunch was fabulous …and I don’t eat fish but I did at this place. Love the family vibe and island friendliness. This was the highlight of our trip! Thanks, George!

5.00Thanks to our driver, Larry, we had a fabulous day seeing the sights around St. John's. (It didn't hurt that the weather was absolutely perfect!). Larry didn't rush us as we toured the important places near St. John's (Quidi Vidi, Cape Spear, Signal Hill, etc.) Lunch at a local dining spot serving up fish and chips - delicious! If the weather isn't great, bring a rain jacket/wind breaker as it is usually quite windy and cool, especially at this time of year.
