Having shared the story of Come From Away with almost a million people, and being partnered in life with born and raised Newfoundlander, Deneen, my passion for this place is what drives my desire to share it. The perspective and connections gained as part of the Come From Away team create a singular experience for my guests:)
All tours hosted and guided by me, Deneen, our friend, Newfoundland music legend Larry Foley, or combinations thereof! All 3 are connected to Come From Away and excited to welcome you inside the story:)

**For the remainder of '25 we will not exceed 6 guests per outing. In 2026, we will be hosting a max of 10 guests per outing. There will be no large bus tours. The personal connections established on our outings are our top priority, and what sets us apart:)

***Please note that all times given are approximate. I won't rush you:) For a moment, you’ll be the easternmost person in North America. We’ll experience the power of the wild North Atlantic crashing against the rocks, the historical points of interest including the massive cannons installed to defend North America in WW2, and, weather permitting, ascend to the lighthouse, with the most spectacular views anywhere.
Petty Harbour
Just outside of St. John’s is the quaint, working fishing village of Petty Harbour, home to Great Big Sea singer Alan Doyle,

5.00George was amazing! Warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, very very interesting, musical, and pointed out so many interesting things, and made great suggestions for us to continue our NFLD adventures. He took us to 'By the Beach' in Portugal Cove for a delicious fresh fish & chip lunch. Sherri made us feel like we were in her own kitchen. George even answered a few questions questions from people not even on our tour. If you're in the St. John's area, contact George for a memorable and unforgettable experience. 5.00George was a great guide and bent over backwards to accommodate the group. He went to 2 different locations to pick us up when a few got confused about the pick up point. He was knowledgeable and engaging and the tour was a great value.
