Having shared the story of Come From Away with almost a million people, and being partnered in life with born and raised Newfoundlander, Deneen, my passion for this place is what drives my desire to share it. My perspective and the connections gained as part of the Come From Away family make for a singular experience for my guests:)

All tours are hosted and guided by me, Deneen, our friend, Newwfoundland music legend Larry Foley, or, schedule allowing, combinations thereof! All 3 of us are connected to Come From Away and excited to welcome you inside the story:)

*PLEASE NOTE: THIS TOUR TAKES PLACE IN ST. JOHN’S, NEWFOUNDLAND, NOT SAINT JOHN, NEW BRUNSWICK. Please check your itinerary. I’d hate for you to end up 1300 miles from me!

*AND...our September 7 outing will be a bit larger, with 15-20 guests rather than 6. This is to accommodate overwhelming demand from Azamara.

Cape Spear Lighthouse National Historic Site

***Please note that all times given are approximate. I won't rush you:) For a moment, you’ll be the easternmost person in North America. We’ll experience the power of the wild North Atlantic crashing against the rocks, the historical points of interest including the massive cannons installed to defend North America in WW2, and, weather permitting, ascend to the lighthouse, with the most spectacular views anywhere.

    George was amazing! Warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, very very interesting, musical, and pointed out so many interesting things, and made great suggestions for us to continue our NFLD adventures. He took us to 'By the Beach' in Portugal Cove for a delicious fresh fish & chip lunch. Sherri made us feel like we were in her own kitchen. George even answered a few questions questions from people not even on our tour. If you're in the St. John's area, contact George for a memorable and unforgettable experience.     George was a great guide and bent over backwards to accommodate the group. He went to 2 different locations to pick us up when a few got confused about the pick up point. He was knowledgeable and engaging and the tour was a great value.

    I had a wonderful day touring around with George:) He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and its history. We had by far the best fish and chips for lunch. George himself is very interesting in his own right. I absolutely loved the tour:)

    George was our guide on a wonderful four hour tour of St. John’s, which included the best fish and chip lunch I have ever tasted. The tour began in Cape Spear and looped around St. John’s ending at Signal Hill. We stopped in Petty Harbour and watched fisherman at work and had a marvellous lunch in Portugal Cove.
