We offer the most unique marine adventure in Newfoundland. You will get to catch and keep your own cod fish so please bring a cooler to take your cod fillet back with you.

There is nothing better than a day on the North Atlantic chasing the famous cod which has defined our province for over 500 years.
For the more adventurous we also offer Shark Fishing Charters (Blue Shark, Porbeagle, Mako and Great White)
We offer custom tour packages for those looking to enjoy the taste of freshly cooked cod right off the boat. We can pan fry your catch as soon as we clean your fish while you enjoy a cold beverage and relax after a fantastic day on the water. Please inquire for details and availability.

Enjoy a day of cod fishing or we can try to photograph some humpback whales and with any luck we may even find some million-year-old icebergs floating by. You may wish to just relax on deck and enjoy an ice cold beer while the puffins swim along the ocean surface. It's time to relax and enjoy the beautiful North Atlantic Ocean while floating past the most easterly point in North America, Beautiful Cape Spear. Cod fishing season opens the first weekend in July and closes Labor Day Monday. Please verify your tour dates coincide with the cod fishery if wishing to go cod fishing. NL Boat Tours is a PET FRIENDLY experience, please bring a leash as your pet may get excited with the sights and sounds on-board.

5.00Great time, large cod caught. He took us into St. Johns Harbour to view the city from the water and showed us the lighthouse and the easternmost point of North America and recommended to visit the sight, which we did.

5.00Skipper Mike is fabulous! We could not go on the tour on Saturday June 21, as the wind was too high and it was not safe to travel. We met him on Sunday June 22 and we had a faulous tour. Knowledgeable, great music, jigging to catch cod, it was a wonderful experience.

5.00The views were amazing! Captain Mike even took us to Quidi Vidi to see how beautiful it was from the boat. We both caught fish. A fantastic day on the water!!!!!

5.00The Guide was amazing. Friendly, Informative like most people in NL. we caught our quota of cod fish in no time. Then our guide took us to Quidi Quidi village which was lovely. At the end of our journey He filleted the cod for us and we were on our way. Wonderful experience.

2.00The Skipper was very friendly. The trip was shorter than the stated time and we did very little fishing, one member of our party didn't even get to fish. Overall I don't think it was worth the cost.

5.00What a great trip! Our tour guide met us at the dock an hour early and we immediately loaded up the boat, put on our lifejackets and headed out. The water was choppy but he handled it perfectly and navigated us into a cove (little fishing village). Once back out on the water, we put our lines in and had 10+ cod fish in no time! Incredible time and the easiest most fun fishing we've ever done! We did an extra bit of sailing around the harbor and he was able to drop us off practically right next to our cruise ship! Couldn't ask for a better guide or experience! Thanks so much!

5.00The caves wine tour was very interesting. They also took us on a tour of the surrounding vineyards as well as the town. The sparkling wine at the end of the tour was also worthwhile. The little stand inside the winery had great foods for a picnic and the whole place was set up outside for just that purpose. Some of the best hospitality ever in France.
