Santa Cruz de Tenerife
The Tenerife Auditorium, designed by the architect Santiago Calatrava, is a building with a strong sculptural impact. Located in an unparalleled landscape setting, it offers the visitor the opportunity to enjoy a great work of architecture together with others of nature, such as the sea and the mountain range that forms the old Anaga massif. The Parroquia Matriz de Nuestra Señora de La Concepción is the main Catholic temple in the city, built on the first hermitage founded by the conquerors in Santa Cruz. Its tower was built in 1786 and is one of the most recognizable symbols of the old chicharrero town. The Santa Cruz Palmetum is a unique project in the world, which has transformed a garbage dump into a space for leisure and botanical culture. San Cristobal de La Laguna
A UNESCO World Heritage City San Cristóbal de La Laguna was the first city in Canaria to be declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Its colonial architecture, the linear layout of its streets, and a large pedestrian shopping area give a distinctive mark to this old university city. Enjoying its historic streets is an unforgettable experience. The main advantage of the historic center of La Laguna is that its rich heritage is concentrated in a very small space, due to the city's own history and evolution.

1.00Cancellec at 9 pm the night before with no backup offered... after we had already gotten messages where to meet etc. Only day in Tenerife.

5.00A lovely day to get a little insight into the real Tenerife . Our guide Fernando was really friendly, yet professional. Good Communication before pick up to update us on ETA. He was flexible and knowledgeable. This is a good whistle stop tour. We were given your own space and allocated time to wonder around each place. There are places we visited that day that we would love to spend perhaps a day exploring so we will now be planning to do that when we return to Tenerife. Without this tour we would not have seen some of the natural and unspoilt beauty that exists here! Thank you.

5.00Highly recommend! We were asked what we really wanted to do at the start of the day so you can 'customize' the tour to your liking. It was an interesting (I asked a lot of questions, thank you Fernando for taking the time to answer them), fascinating (the changing landscapes on the island are wild) and comfortable day: no buses, no waiting for anyone, just get in the car and go when and where you want to (and believe me, island tours include a lot of driving).

5.00We asked Gloma Travel to tailor a tour of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and La Laguna. We were picked up at our hotel in Costa Adeje and driven by our guide, Diego, by car to the north of the island. During the 50 minute drive Diego was telling us all about Tenerife and the Canary Islands. At each location Diego showed us around via a mix of driving around initially then parking the car and then walking to many of the places of interest in each city. Diego’s local knowledge was first class and we learnt so much over the course of the day. He has a great enthusiasm for Tenerife, the Canary Islands and the job he does which made for a superb day. This was our second tour with Gloma Travel and would highly recommend them and Diego. They offer great value for money.

5.00Amazing day out. Picked up from our hotel by Diego, we wanted to see more of Tenerife. so much more to the island than big hotels and beaches, very lovely though they are. We went to Masca village, saw the old dragon tree, non commercialised villages, a true black beach, stopped many times to take in breathtaking views, all the while benefiting from Diego’s extensive knowledge of local information and history. 😍

5.00I would recommend this trip to anyone it was fabulous, Diego our tour guide was excellent very knowledgeable and we got to learn so many fascinating things about the island. We went to the north and saw many beautiful towns and views.
Enjoyed the Tour, but it wasn't the Tour as advertised

3.00The positives: Our guide Joel was amazing and very informative. He made it a great tour. We would recommend him for anything. The negatives: I booked this specific tour for the spots listed on the itinerary. We only saw two of those advertised and booked spots. When we all got in the van, Joel asked "So what's the plan for today?" I was too taken aback to simply say just do the itinerary that we booked. My assumption was that was what we would be doing. He then suggested an itinerary, and we went with it. Perhaps the fact that we were based in the North of Tenerife changed the itinerary. But, with our accommodation being a pickup point, my assumption was that the booking itinerary would simply accommodate to that fact and we would still see the advertised and booked spots. It's my bad for making assumptions and not speaking up. But, if you are going to advertise a specific itinerary on Viator, no matter where your hotel accommodation pickup point may be, then you should update the itinerary to still take the group to the advertised and booked spots.
