La Gomera is full of charming places: picturesque hamlets among ravines in the middle of nature, villages with traditional and rural architecture and historic buildings of great importance due to their Columbian past.

A fantastic Canarian menu is included in the price and you will be lucky enough to listen to the live silbo canario. The silbo gomero is a whistled language practised by some inhabitants of the Canary Islands to communicate across ravines. The silbo transforms the vocalised sounds of any natural human language into tonal whistles recognisable at a distance.

PASSPORTS IMPORTANT !!! We depart from your hotel at approximately 07:00 AM to the port of Los Cristianos. There the ferry of the company "Fred Olsen" will be waiting for us to take us to San Sebastián de La Gomera, the capital of the island.

Once in La Gomera, we will take the southern route and make a brief stop next to the Roque de Agando, a curious rock formation typical of the island. Its origin is the magma of the volcanoes that shaped the island and which, over time, has been eroded to what we can see today. It is a unique witness to what happened on La Gomera millions of years ago and offers spectacular views, especially from the base of the Roque.

The initial pickup bus driver very irate, thought we were going to miss the ferry. Bus break down on la Gomera so the itinerary was changed leading to a very late lunch and missing out part of the tour

Enjoyed full day experience of driving around La Gonera. Had several opportunities to get out of bus and had a good lunch. One mprovements: limit narration to one language. It was in English and French which meant guide was talking all the time on the bus. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Lovely day driving around in a comfortable bus and stopping for photos and a nice lunch with a demonstration of the whistling language. Then a chance to walk in a park with the laurel Silva trees and hang out at San Sebastian before catching the ferry back to Tenerife. We enjoyed it very much and it was a good value.

Excellent trip. Very well organised. Enrique was a fantastic guide, knowledgable, funny and relaxed ( I hope he found his hat). Excellent driving by Pepe along winding high roads. I would thoroughly recommend this trip.

Fantastic day on La Gomera, so well planned by Island Excursions. Enrique our guide was superb with interesting facts, cultural connections, and an amazing energy. Breathtaking views, and brilliant driving by Bepe along the rural roads. We had the very best day!

The tour guide speaks in multiple languages during the entire day. You don’t get a lot of info in your own spoken language since everything is repeated multiple times.

We absolutely adored this tour. The guide, Yaiza, was extremely knowledgeable and translated beautifully in four languages. We enjoyed the various photo opportunities, the short trek in the national park, the museum visit (we are already coming back to do the museum properly!) and exploring San Sebastián at the end. Thoroughly recommend this bus tour. Massive thank you to Yaiza and our bus driver Pepe. P.S. lunch was simple and perfect, my vegetarian husband was well catered for with a fresh vegetable stew.

The Tour was amazing ❤️, especially our guide, Yaiza, who did a great job (she can speak six languages!!! 😱). She was really caring and trying to make it a wonderful experience for everyone (vegan food was possible because of her!). I can really recommend it to everyone in Tenerife who wants to explore La Gomera.

The tour is very cool, you get a good idea of what the island is like. The bad thing is that when you get picked up up in the north, you're scheduled too early and you're too early to catch the boat at 9:30, and you're left 11⁄2 hours unable to do anything in the harbor. Food is scarce and with little variety, with no options for the first course and do not even offer an alternative drink to wine or water.
