King Abdullah Mosque
The blue-domed King Abdullah I Mosque, built in the 1980s by the late King Hussein as a memorial to his grandfather, is open to Non-Muslim visitors. The nave with an area of 1,615 m2 has the capacity to house 3,000 worshippers. It is octogonal and distiguished for not having pillars inside. Its dome of 35 m in diameter has a height of 31 meters. A source of radiation was placed in the middle taking the form of a golden star culminating in the Ninety Nine Most Beautiful Names of Allah surrounding the dome's neck. The suspended chandelier of 168 lanterns consists of three circles with the Holy Quranic Verse with the word Allah recurring on every lantern. The fertile land is expressed in the form of a red carpet made of an ornamental textile of recurring patterns meant to direct worshippers toward the Kiblah. All the walls, including the Kiblah, the pulpit, and the Mihrab are panelled with wooden and marble oriels.
The Citadel
Jabal al-Qala is one of the seven mountains of Amman, which the Ammonians have long taken as the seat of their rule in the city, followed by Greece, romans and Byzantines who occupied the city respectively until it was occupied by the Islamic conquest in the 7th century AD, where the Umayyad Palace was built on its top. Mount Qalaa in Amman emerged as the capital of the Ammonians.

5.00A great way to see the highlights with limited time. Our driver was really flexible. We were never rushed and had plenty of time to see everything as we wanted. He made certain we got to the entrances and that we knew what we were doing and where he would be waiting, which he was even if we were early. Great local knowledge. Felt really safe. Definitely recommend.
It takes too short for a proper recency, so I keep it a shame for the prospective customers who choose this..

5.00Mohammed was a very good leader. Unfortunately, the hotel pickup did not work because the organizer did not forward our hotel change to him, although we confirmed.

5.00The tour stops were excellent especially as I didn’t really have an interest in the automobile museum, but ended up enjoying it nonetheless. There was a downside at the blue-domed mosque shop as I made a purchase of some cosmetics, but found on opening the product expired this month. So really a 4.5 rating. Driver Mahommod was excellent and very patient waiting when we stayed longer at one stop.

5.00We discovered we had a free day and decided last minute to have a half day tour of Amman. Our Driver was so helpful. Showed us the key historical sites, provided helpful background information and waited patiently for us as we toured the sites. He made for a fun filled day!!

4.00This was a good city tour. We went to The Amman Citadel,Roman Theatre and King Abdullah Mosque. I found it expensive overall. £25 per adult for 3 site visits all in close proximity. Also, you have to pay entry fee for the Citadel and the Roman Theatre(2-3JD). Our Driver Rakan was the best. He was so kind and attentive to us. He was also helpful with carrying our buggy and helping us cross roads amongst busy traffic. He was always on hand looking out for us. Rakan is so good we used his services again for a trip to the Dead Sea.

5.00Our driver was pleasant. Car was clean and comfortable. Although not a guide he provided some information. Very convenient way to visit the highlights of Amman. He also took us to a handicraft store, he asked first which I appreciated. The store had a excellent selection.

5.00I had a 22-hour transit in Amman and wanted to make the most of it by exploring the city. I found this tour, and it turned out to be the perfect choice! In just a few hours, I was able to experience both the old and new parts of Amman. From historical landmarks and charming streets to modern neighborhoods, the tour covered a great mix of everything. The city itself has such a calm and welcoming atmosphere. I truly enjoyed walking through the quiet streets, learning about the history, and taking in the views. Even though the time was short, the tour was very well organized and made me feel like I really got to know Amman. Highly recommended for anyone with limited time who wants a meaningful experience in this beautiful city!
