But not just any boat ride, you will be introduced with typical Dutch bites and bits, drinks, our stories, rich history and humor. We will let you know about the rich history of Amsterdam and so much more... You'll not only be meeting me but also guests from all over the world, more than 100 nationalities have joined our tour last year! My friends and I are your host for the whole tour, we will entertain you with amazing facts, funny and exciting stories. I only have electric open boats during summerperiod en heated and closed boat from Oktober till March, meaning quiet cruising with the best views.

Due a lot of traffic at the dock, I can't wait more than 5 minutes. Please make sure you are at the dock 10 minutes before departure.
A fairly big step needs to be taken to get in the boat. Of course we will assist you.
Beware all my boats are open. So when it rains, you can get wet. But rebooking with rain is always possible
I always try to give the best tour possible (5*). But in rare occasion things don't go as you and me would like. Please let me know asap. Either direct or send me an email of text. I will contact you.
The tour is a historical canal cruise, it is not a booze cruise. So if you are looking for a bachelor party boat or any other booze cruise, this is not the cruise for you.
Captain Jack is collaboration between friends. Captain Jack is not himself on the boat.
Due Health regulations (regarding food) animals are not allowed (service animals excluded).

We dock right in front of the Rijksmuseum (Rijksmuseum departure) Take a moment to enjoy this amazing museum. Beautiful as a building and amazing expositions. And of course the master piece of the world famous Rembrandt called the Nachtwacht (Night watch).
Amsterdam Canal Ring
Amsterdam, capital of the Netherlands, has more than one hundred kilometers of grachten (canals), about 90 islands and 1,500 bridges. The three main canals (Herengracht, Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht), dug in the 17th century during the Dutch Golden Age, form concentric belts around the city, known as the Grachtengordel. Alongside the main canals are 1550 monumental buildings.[1] The 17th-century canal ring area, including the Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht, Herengracht and Jordaan, were listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010,[2] contributing to Amsterdam's fame as the "Venice of the North"

1.00I was quite disappointed by this tour. While the ratings are excellent, I did not think it lived up to it. First, the boat is not heated. If you go on a frisky evening, dress appropriately. Second, the fact that the boat is not heated leads to the windows to fog up meaning you will miss all the views. Sure, rags and squeegees are provided but, if the guests across from you doesn’t feel like clearing up the window, you are out of luck. It’s also a bit misleading to say cheese is being served… there’s 2 ramekin size bowl with about 10 small cubes… Finally, the tour was not very informative. Overall, I would say, save your money and skip this tour OR spend a little more to take a better one.

5.00Not only was a beautiful boat, but the capitan was so knowledgeable of his city and history that was very entertaining.tha snacks and wine was delicious. And the boat was cozy and comfortable. Way worth the price. Highly recommend

5.00Lovely evening! After a lot of research, we chose this tour and were so glad we did. Went on a super cold night, got the boat to ourselves. Amazing hospitality, knowledge, and a beautiful first night in Amsterdam!
Great 1.5 hour Canal Cruise!

5.00We had a really lovely time on our Captain Jack cruise. The timing was perfect, as it was 1.5 hours long, and I think this was a great length of time for the experience. The Captain was amazing (I forgot his name, but were on the 4pm cruise on Sunday 4th of Jan). He was very informative and told us lots of fun facts and stories of the city, and even his personal experience of living in the city. We also really appreciated the booking staff as well, as we missed our original cruise by mistake due to a timing mix up, and they were super helpful by booking us on to the next cruise and making sure we didn't miss it. The drinks and snacks were a really lovely addition as well, and the price was great for what we got! It wasn't too crowded on the boat either, and blankets were provided as well for the cold weather.

1.00They are trying to censor what I’m saying but it was not fun and it was not fun. Captain Jack was pretty unfunny and the boat itself was very uncomfortable. Food and drinks were the opposite of good.

5.00We had such a wonderful experience on this cruise through some of Amsterdam’s canals. There were plenty of snacks and drinks available for all to enjoy. The vibe was very cheerful and we sat next to some wonderful people who were also enjoying the views and captain’s stories. My only suggestion is that they invest in some sort of sound system so that passengers are able to hear the captain/tour guide better. 10/10 recommend if you ever visit Amsterdam!

3.00Not heated, yes the boat had heat but the other ride passengers on the boat kept opening the windows every 5 seconds so it was freezing for the entire 90 minutes and it was pitch black so we couldn’t see anything. The other guests were loud and it was hard to hear the captain most of the time. Sensory overload for me, not enjoyable or romantic.
