Introduction: Discover one of Bolivia's most unique geographic locations: the point where the Andes change direction, separating the tropical Amazon rainforests from the dry Chaco lowlands as they move eastward. Information: The tour departs from Samaipata. You will be picked up from your hotel or the meeting point (the main square). You will then embark on a drive of approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour to the trailhead. This is where the hike begins. The trail begins with an easy walk, and soon you reach a rest stop with your first breathtaking mountain views. The hike then becomes steeper and more demanding, taking approximately 45 minutes (or less for those who enjoy physical activity). However, once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of "El Codo de los Andes." Here you can take photos and explore the peaks further, and if you're lucky, you might see condors, hummingbirds, and parrots.

Incredible hike. Highly recommended. Really appreciated how communicative this company is - they respond to emails quickly, and check in to make sure things are going smoothly. Would definitely use them again.

This hike was my first in the Andes and it was absolutely stunning. The guide, Nicola, knew a lot about the place, was very kind and spoke great English. The tour started with a hike up the mountain and I got lucky: an Andean Condor flew right above our heads on one of the lookout points. The hike on top of the mountain is breathtaking. I would recommend the shorter tour for people who are used to hiking but don't want to commit to 8 hours. It is not an easy hike, but with somewhat decent fitness very doable. It often can be difficult to find a tour that is bookable for one person. So I was very happy when I found this tour! The communication with the tour agency was also super easy and great.

Good tour through the elbow of the Andes and the beautiful waterfalls in Samaipata. Highly recommended to do it with the great guide.
