Our tour starts at a quintessentially Victoria donut shop, Empire Donuts, in the heart of downtown. Empire is known for its unique donuts in an intergalactic 50’s diner style shop. From there, we walk a short distance to a beloved coffee and donut spot in Victoria, passing some of the best restaurant locations (according to our guides!) along the way. Next, we will make our way down to Government Street, taking in the inner harbour which includes the Empress hotel and parliament buildings. As we weave our way back into downtown, we will eventually hit our third donut spot, a local ma and pop shop for delightful donuts. Finally, we will walk towards Chinatown and end at Friend and Family Bake in Fantan Alley. This bakery has numerous Filipino treats, including donuts, and if we are lucky, we can see these delicious treats being made. We can’t wait to show you this wonderful city in all its donut glory! We hope to see you soon!

Cait Irwin was fabulous -- as were the donuts! We learned so much about Victoria in the most delicious way! 10/10 recommend.

Found this tasty tour only the day before going. It was a great way to see some of the sights while walking around downtown Victoria. With stops for sweet donuts and a few minutes rest at each place. Our guide Cait was super friendly and upbeat and knew so much about both Victoria and donuts. Her love for Victoria is very strong. My wife even enjoyed the tour and the donuts made it an adventure for her and memorable. We will look for more underground donut tours on other cities. We recommend you try.

My 7.5 year old daughter and I had a great time on our donut tour of Victoria. Our guide Cait did a great job of talking about the history of the places we were seeing and stopping at en route and there was a good variety of different kinds of donuts to try. It was one of my daughter's favourite experiences from our time there :)

Cait was a fun and engaging guide! Our group was pretty small so it was a really nice personal tour. The donuts were all wonderful! I couldn’t choose just one favourite, so here are pictures of 3/4 of our stops. Really happy that this tour exists because I am pregnant and am limited in the other types of food/drink tours possible right now.

Cait made this tour so wonderful!! Her storytelling was really great and she catered to the variety of audiences in our group so well. She did a great job of celebrating the diversity of the city and I learned so much as a first time traveller to Victoria!

The trip is fine. Though you could just buy a range of donuts from the same shops at a lower cost, I wanted to gain a bit of knowledge about Victoria too. For me it was the right balance, I don't have a huge attention span for tours, and only take so much in, this was about right. Donuts wise- You get the option to ask for more of you are still hungry, the issue is that we naturally didn't ask for more as we wanted to have space for the last shop, where if we were still hungry we would then ask for more. Unfortunately, the last shop was the most unusual (Philippines) and though interesting tastes, we didn't want more of it.

The Underground Doughnut Tour was such a fun and unique experience, including 4 stops for delicious doughnuts and a history of many different historic sites of Victoria. The tour guide, Fraser, made it even better—very knowledgeable, super friendly, and fun to spend that time with. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a tasty, memorable way to see the city.

We were looking forward to this tour! And found out it would be a private one! Just our family. Fraser was our guide and she hit it out of the harbour! Great history telling and was knowledgeable of the downtown core! NOW the donuts were not “Timmies” but big, bold and very tasty. Super cool tour. Fraser is an underground asset! Alberta family!
