5.00This tour was exceptional! My tour guide, Lam, was great! Loved that he was also walking with us during most of the site visits to make sure we were getting through them safely. He gave each of us ice cleats/crampons to ensure we could get to Peyton Lake without slipping on that one steep hill. We used them again to see Athabasca Glacier. He was knowledgeable, and even offered to take photos when he saw us awkwardly trying to take selfies. All and all, I would join other tours Lam or Rockies Journey have to offer.

5.00I'll start by saying that this tour is a long day. However, it's so long because you get to see so much and there are some incredible experiences built in to the tour. On top of the great views and experiences, you might get lucky and get Kenneth as your tour guide. He was the best. Very funny, energetic, and insightful. When it comes to tour guides, he was easily the best we've ever had. He took pictures, provided snacks and water, consistent bathroom breaks and always made sure that we had enough time to fully experience each stop. The only downside to this tour is that you have to bring your own lunch, but that's mostly because there's no where to stop along the way that has food. Also, I would much rather picnic next to a waterfall than spend an hour in a restaurant waiting for food. The views on this tour are incredible and unless you're willing to do a lot of research and a lot of driving, you likely won't be able to see this much in a day. It's well worth the money. I couldn't recommend this tour enough. The only tour that might be better is the option that includes walking on the glacier, but I would rather fit in a couple waterfalls or lakes than spend time walking on slush.
