On this trip, we have prepared a cocktail of impressions for you. In one day, we will see and try all the most interesting and delicious things in Cyprus. We will visit the village of artists, Lania. This is one of the most picturesque villages in Cyprus. There are several free museums in Lania.
We will also visit the famous Roses Factory in the village of Agros. There we will get acquainted with all kinds of products from damask rose petals. Then we will visit the local Smokehouse and traditional Jam House, where residents make delicious smoked meats, as well as unique jams from a variety of vegetables and fruits and it’s worth a try!
After a short stop and rest, we will visit Foini village, where the small family production unit of loukoumi "Ourania Delights". There you can taste loukoumi which is made based on the authentic recipe of 1930.
We will also drop into the local winery for a tasting of Cyprus wines and other strong drinks.

5.00Highly recommend. Each stop was a unique experience of homemade produce and a step back in time especially in the village of Lania at the beginning. An authentic lunch in the well known " Linari Taverna" certainly delivered before our wine tasting later in the afternoon. Well done Eva..and thank you.

5.00Great and very friendly guide! The stops are very well chosen. All kinds of treats included. You pay for lunch yourself, but it is cheap and also very delicious.

5.00Picked up in small people carrier from our hotel by Vlad. As we were the only people on the tour we had his undivided attention. His knowledge of the island and it's history was excellent and he kept us entertained with facts and anecdotes. He was also an excellent driver. From a visit to the village of Laneia where we tasted some beautiful wine and purchased a bottle to bring back, we then went to Agros village. Here we visited the traditional sweets company Nikhe (sampled many delicios items), the Rose factory (the pure rose scent was so relaxing) and Kafkalia deli to sample smoked meats. Next we had a superb lunch at a traditional family restaurant called Makris. An added bonus was a visit to Cyprus Chocolates, where Katerina was so welcoming and knowledgeable, teaching us about pure 100% dark chocolate as well as the other beautiful chocolates they produce. Finally we visited another larger winery The Lambouri winery - LionSpirit. Again we were giving a history of the winery and tasted some lovely wines. All in all this was an amazing day's tour and we can highly recommend it.

5.00A lovely day out, up in to the mountain. Visited Lania a small village our group was just four of us and travelled in a people carrier. Went to a sweet factory, traditional smoke meat shop and other places in the Trodos mountain range. Our driver was very knowledgable on everything from the plants to the geoology. And she also took us to a small restaurant for lunch in the mountains. I can imagine this trip in the summer is a must as the mountains are pleasantly cooler, than the beaches.
Taste of Paphos, ok if you like being taken to shops.

3.00Mini bus arrived bang on time, had air con and was fine. Vlad introduced himself and did his best to convey lots of information. Stopped at Lania for toilet stop and walk round. Then onto a sweet shop that had lots of lovely stuff... From there to a Rose factory shop, got a small insight into production and was interesting. Then weirdly to a shop selling dried and smoked meats and other foods. Fro here went to Makris restaurant for very pleasant lunch which you chose and paid for. After lunch popped into a chocolate shop with brief intro and chance to buy. Then finally Lion Spirit winery. Here sampled three wines with chance to buy. Then an hour back to Paphos. Overall it was ok. But no chance to take a single picture of the mountains. Really a glorified shopping expedition.

1.00After getting up early, loads of messing around about where the pick up point was the trip was cancelled 10 minutes after we should of left!!! Anxiously waiting for our over £100 refund!!

5.00Very interesting trip ""TASTE OF CYPRUS"". It was really hot even in the mountains. Loved the ride through the mountains-beautiful roads. We visited the village Lania (like a fairytale village). In Argos village we visited the Rose factory, Smoked meat factory - delicious, and House of Jam - a world of sweets. We enjoyed wine offered in Lamburi winery. I would like to note the safe driving on the mountain roads and the work of the guide. Thank you for a good day!

4.00Nice tour with lots of tasty shops and factories to visit. The tour was pleasant and well planned. If you suffer from travel sickness I recommend to take a travel pill due to some road bends on the way :)

5.00At the beginning of June they were on holiday in Cyprus. Visited a very good tour "Taste of Cyprus". Recommend to anyone interested in local life, mountain villages. We visited the villages of Laña, the village of Agros and the village of Cacopetria. The three villages are different, each with its own highlight. Because there are not many tourists in Lanier, museums have not been opened. But that didn't dampen our mood. The village of Lanja is a very distinct village. Took a lot of photos. Most importantly, we have learned that Cyprus is not only the sea and the sun, but also authentic places.
