Have you ever dreamed of releasing baby turtles into the sea?
Turtles come to lay their eggs in and around Puerto Escondido throughout the year. Without human intervention, however, only a few of these amazing creatures will survive into the days after they hatch.
Participate in helping local organizations to preserve the turtles. We will pick you up at your hotel in the afternoon to arrive at our beach for sunset. There, you will participate in the release of the baby turtles in their natural environment.
We will take you back to your home full of unforgettable memories!!!

5.00I had the opportunity to do this turtle release tour in Puerto Escondido and it was a beautiful experience. We arrived at the beach in the evening, explained the process and then each released some turtles to the sea. It was very emotional and special.. It is ideal to do it with your partner!!

3.00Our guide was nice and on time. It was cool watching them dig up the baby turtles from their nests. I was beyond excited to hold my baby sea turtle in the bamboo bowl and release him into the ocean. We were all standing on the beach cheering on our little turtles scooting towards the sea. That’s when the amazing experience took a turn, the birds up above were diving into the water and flying off with baby turtles in their beaks. I couldn’t help but feel that I just paid to feed the birds :(
