Banff is Canada's first National park, symbolized by the Iconic Banff Spring Hotel, erected in 1888. and is the oldest building in Alberta! (That is old for us) After exploring the hotel we can marvel at the waterfall below. The viewpoints from Tunnel Mountain are grand and second to none! You will feel a renewed sense of wonder, guaranteed. We will go to the much lesser know spots however equally majestic. Blue glacial lakes and views and the powerful pull to mountains we have known for centuries. Hikes, waterfalls Falls, legends, indigenous history and wildlife are a few of the amazing things you will experience! Banff has a long history as a sacred gathering place for ceremony, trade, sharing, visions, and celebration. The Banff area, known as "Minhrpa" (translated in Stoney Nakoda as "the waterfalls") is part of the Treaty 7 territory Îyârhe Nakoda (Stoney Nakoda)comprised of the Bearspaw, Chiniki, and Goodstoney First Nations, Tsuut'ina First Nation, Blackfoot Confederacy

5.00This was such a great activity for People of all ages to come together and have a hotdog and a laugh! Thanks to our guide sue who lead us on a walk through the park like none other! Her impeccable knowledge of the area as well as the land made this an inspiring and knowledgeable experience for all! Thanks sue!

5.00A few friends were visiting from the east coast and while I live in Calgary I am not the most knowledgeable about trails and hikes and in general mountain living. Sue is a fantastic hostess and would highly recommend you book with her. She is a Hidden gem.
