The Grand Palace
Located at the heart of Bangkok, Thailand, the Grand Palace was a former residence for King Rama I to King Rama V of the Rattanakosin Kingdom. Today, the place is used for hosting royal ceremonies and welcoming the king's guests, State guests, and other foreign dignitaries. It is also a place where remains of kings and high-ranked members of the royal family were situated before cremation. The grand palace is divided into two main zones, which are the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the royal residence.

5.00Beautiful sights and an excellent guide (Pat) and a very good safe driver (Nut) still low season so not too crowded but regardless the duration to get round the palace and the 2 temples was just right

5.00All sights were awesome but what made it so special was Sunny our tour guide. He was attentive to each of our needs and kept our spirits up in the very hot and humid situation. Sunny's sense of humour, knowledge and warm an affable nature kept us entertained.

5.00I booked last minute and they were able to accommodate me. My guide was super knowledgeable and informative. I was picked up at my hotel by boat and taken up river to see the temples and Palace as described. My guide expertly navigated the crowds and let me look around on my own. I am glad I booked and took the opportunity to learn so much.

5.00This was a perfect tour we took before going on our cruise. Do not use the tour operator to go to the cruise port. The cruise port is 50 to 60 miles away. Way too expensive. Our Hotel found a private driver for half the cost to the port. Nina our tour guide was great and very informative and successfully tailored the tour to our requirements. I loved seeing everything on this tour. Some of the buildings reminded me of Gaudi and Barcelona. So unique.
