This tour let you experience the Thai capital at night and gives you a unique impression of the city.
Bangkok is very different at night and many landmarks will be beautifully lit up which creates a magical atmosphere. You will be accompanied by a local guide who loves his/her country and really wants to explain you everything about Bangkok, Thai culture and food!
We start the tour with a short Chao Phraya Express Boat ride on the River of Kings to the stunning Wat Arun.
After our visit to Wat Arun, we cross the river and continue with a typical Thai tuk-tuk, passing some of Bangkok's famous landmarks.
We get off in Chinatown for a simple street-food meal and dessert.
NOTE 1:
The tour ends in Chinatown. You can take the metro back to your hotel or the guide can assist with a taxi (not included).
NOTE 2:
Mondays are street cleaning days in Bangkok citywide, and many street food cart vendors take the day off. Please be aware that Chinatown is less lively and less crowded on Mondays.
Public transportation options are available nearby
Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Since you will visit an important Buddhist temple (only IF open), you are expected to dress respectfully. We recommend you to wear longer shorts (knees covered) and to have your shoulders covered when we enter the temple.
The guide can only wait for a MAXIMUM of 10 minutes after the set meeting time. After the 10 minutes grace period, the guide will start with the tour.
We have our street-food meal at the end of the tour, so we recommend you to eat something before start of the tour if you can't wait that long.
On Monday food-stalls are not allowed on the streets, so Chinatown is a less lively than other days of the week.
Our tuk-tuk tour operates rain or shine.
Bangkok's traffic is notorious. Since our tours are on a group basis, we would like to emphasize that you should arrive at the meeting point on time. If you cannot make it in time, please inform us before start of the tour. If possible, we will always do our best to reschedule you to the first available day/start time, but a change fee will apply.
The tour starts with a short boat ride on the Chao Phraya Express Boat to Wat Arun.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

We had a wonderful day with our fantastic tour guide Bee, he was a nice friendly guy and very knowledgeable. He explained so much to us about the history of Bangkok and the places we visited and took us for some lovely food. He was patient too, we arrived on time but as we’d spent quite a lot of time walking and travelling by train some of us needed the toilet and since there wasn’t going to be one around for at least an hour we had to rush to the local department store. This took us some time but thankfully we didn’t miss the boat. If I was giving advice I would tell others to go to the toilet before they turn up for the tour.

It is a combination of tuk-tuk, cruising, and walking. Be prepared for a gorgeous sunset. Suggest bringing water.

My husband and I enjoyed the tour. It was longer than we were expecting - about 3.5 hours - but our guide Tac was great. Would recommend this for your first night or day in Bangkok to get the lay of the land. You don’t get a lot of time at the sights but enough to get a feel for the city and transportation. Be ready to walk a good amount and bring snacks and water. The dinner is about 2 hours into the tour so don’t come hungry. Our group was small, about 10 people, and that was perfect. Definitely give yourself plenty of time to get to the starting location as the traffic is unpredictable. We ended up being a few minutes late because of it but they’ll wait up to 10 minutes thankfully. Overall, this is was an enjoyable experience.
