  We accidentally booked our tour on a 45 degree day so two businesses we were supposed to go to were closed and lots of shops in Hahndorf were also shut. Management did not care that half the tour was cut and only offered extra time in Hahndorf to compensate despite the glaring difference in value. Thankfully though our tour guide Wazza was amazing - he arranged for us to go to a chocolate factory and a cheese factory to fill in the extra time and genuinely wanted everyone to have an amazing day. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and so funny and easy to talk to. He clearly loves his job and takes pride in each of his tours. Will definitely be booking another tour with him (on a cooler day) the next time we are in Adelaide.

  Absolutely great day. Not too rushed, our driver / guide was great. The wineries we visited were fantastic especially Kies Family winery. Ordered a case from there. If you have a full day spare highly recommended this tour.

  Very small van, difficult to get in and out if you are stuck in the third row. Very high step into the van, ascwell. Frankly...damn near impossible for older folks like my wife and I. Also, short stops...and one too many stops. The small little chocolate "factory" was a waste of time. At the wine tasting stops, the driver was literally standing nearby checking his watch the entire time. Why bring a group to a winery for tasting, but give people no time to discuss and order some wine. The winery staffs at both locations were great, but the driver was impatient. When we arrived in Hahndorf, we only had 40 minutes to walk the length of Mainstreet... to get back to the bus he parked about a mile away for some reason. 4 of us were in our 70s. The young lady in the group had to find a restroom. None of us had more than 10 minutes to actually pop into a store or order a cup of coffee to enjoy our time. Personally, I think the driver needed to get back into town by 5 pm to pick up his kids from daycare or something. Maybe the distances the tour tried to cover are just too many miles apart.

  My husband and I have done tours in many places but todays tour was amazing. There were 15 of us today with multiple pickup locations. Everybody was friendly and we had a great time. First stop was Maggie Beers Farm, for light refreshments, then a quick detour via to a Chocolate Factory. Then to two family owned wineries. There were a couple of very surprising wine offerings. Probably one of my favourite tours to date. It was relaxed, the company was fantastic and our driver Deep, kept us entertained with his knowledge and a bit of impromptu Tour-Bus Karaoke. Would thoroughly recommend

  Great experience but felt a bit rushed, not sure if due to excursion company or wineries, but there was not enough time to really taste the wines. Very transactional rather than experiential.

  Lovely way to spend a day. We learnt a lot about Adelaide and the Barossa wine region. Deep was a wonderful driver/host.
