We had the absolute pleasure of touring Bath with Jim, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to England. From the moment the tour began, Jim had us captivated with his incredible storytelling and deep knowledge of Bath’s rich history. He brought the city to life with fascinating tales, hidden details, and a genuine passion for the place that was absolutely infectious. Every stop along the way was made even more special by Jim’s insights — whether it was a fun historical anecdote or a little-known fact, he made sure we were engaged and entertained the whole time. His warmth, humor, and professionalism made the experience feel both personal and unforgettable. We loved every second and can’t recommend Jim highly enough. If you’re visiting Bath, do yourself a favor and book a tour with him — you won’t regret it!

Jim managed to pack an incredible number of fascinating facts into just over two hours. I’ve never enjoyed a town walk so much. We explored the full sweep of Bath’s history — from Roman times through to the Georgian era, with its stunning architecture, and even the impact of the Second World War. Jim also shared insights into Jane Austen’s life in Bath, including her residences, sources of inspiration, and favourite walking routes. Highlights included a whistle-stop tour of the Pump Rooms, visits to filming locations, and intriguing details about the city’s rivers, hot springs, and local flora — such as the Handkerchief Tree and the London Plane. Jim also recommended a fantastic restaurant for the evening (The Circus), which we thoroughly enjoyed, and we ended our day with tea and cake at what has to be the best spot in town — The Colombian Company. I couldn’t recommend Jim more highly — and as a bonus, he takes excellent photos too!

I visited Bath during the bank holiday weekend in early May with a group of friends and Jim provided the most amazing, informative, fun and interesting tour to our group. The tour was wonderfully personalised as we had a huge Jane Austen fan with us and Jim really took the time to point out some key highlights. There were also lots of fun Bridgerton facts too. Jim has such a vast knowledge of Bath's history and architecture but delivers it with such a fun and engaging manner. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bath, particularly any Austen or Bridgerton fans - you won't be disappointed but just be prepared for a good old chuckle along the way. Thank you Jim for making our visit extra special.
