The driver will pick you up at Capital airport or your hotel. Traveling by comfortable a private vehicle, about 1.5-hour driving one way. You typically have around 3-5 hours at the wall to hike and take pictures.

5.00Great trip to the Great Wall! Our driver Jianguang Ding was lovely, very friendly, good English, helped us without asking right to the shuttle bus and recommended a restaurant and food. He also had water for us and gifted us magnets. Everything was seamless, all the communication and information before, the driver Jianguang waited for us in the hotel lobby as well. I highly recommend this service ☺️

Our driver was very nice and despite the fact that we didn’t speak each others language, the communication was smooth with the translator the driver had. I’d def recommend this option for those who want a quick and flexible transportation from the airport or wherever to the wall and back.
